It's the same thing about anything you're passionate about. Sometimes people just want to spread their information to other people. While some do it in a way that talks down others that don't follow, others are genuine in their intentions. I have been outspoken about eating healthier and everything to friends and others…

All of them.

You stole my answer! I used to play a lot of Mtg when I was younger. I've been trying to get friends to give a go to D&D or some other rpg because I've never really played one, outside of one session of Vampire: The Masquerade, where how to play was very poorly explained to me and I was just confused the whole time. I have…

Penumbra series is good. Maybe condemned?

Well I thought I did, but I don't think I've heard of any of those that you named.

Rowdy Roddy Piper fights Keith David in an ally... yes, I think maybe it IS the best movie ever!

The correct answer is obviously Birdemic. ... or Seven Samurai! ...Or any Kurosawa film really.

I bought it and ran it for like 5 minutes before I turned it off. It ran terrible on my machine, which shouldn't be a thing when I have 2x gtx 980ti, i9 5770k, ssd, 32gb of ddr4 ram. I'm guessing it's just not optimized well or doesn't support sli well. And if you're waiting for official release, good luck! Those games…

I love power metal. I was just listening to some persuader on the ride home today.

To be fair, water bears are EVERYBODY'S favorite! :)

I have a lazy completionist thing going most of the time. As I'm playing I definitely don't want to miss anything, and I will spend way too long going out of my way to search for secrets. A lot of times this is to my own detriment and I end up burning myself out on the game before finishing it.

Yeah, that slowdown was butt. But I put up with it cause FFT. Haha. I am going to get FFIX when it hits steam. I hated 8, but 9 was cool. And I never got to beat it back then, so a lot of it will be fresh for me.
-
Right on! I beat that game so many times! With the retranslation that came to psp I dumped even more hours into it. Have you ever played the fan update? Some people modded the psx version with updates to various things like stats, equippable weapons and armor (mages can now equip knives as an example ), advances to the AI…

I was so addicted to smite for like over a year. I stopped playing about a month ago when I realized how much I was no longer having fun with it, and would get angry with it. I'm glad I took the break. I'll probably hop back in again at some point, because it definitely was fun and exciting. But I will likely keep myself…

Final Fantasy Tactics, Super Mario world, and Skate 3 are probably top of my favorite games list. I like playing all kinds of games. Currently playing Street Fighter 5, Payday 2, The Witness, Binding of Isaac, MGS5, and probably a lot more. That sounds like a lot, but I have a short attention span for games and I often hop…

That game is so great! I do really hate how a lot of people I play with online act like 5 year Olds on a soccer field. Everyone rushing and crowding around the ball at all times. So many times I've set up a great shot for myself only to have my teammates hit into me or knock the ball in the complete opposite direction of…

The moon is drifting farther and farther away from earth each year at a rate of roughly 3.8 centimeters per year. Same for the earth and the sun, but at a slower rate. We can, and have survived millimeters off of our current position. And even if HUMANS could not survive such a difference, that does preclude life as we…

The evidence that exists supporting that there is a sasquatch is pretty poor, and unfortunately for those in the community researching such things, there have been a number of prominent researchers who have been caught creating hoaxed, some a number of times, and some still holding credibility somehow. The amount of…

You can do a LOT with PCs and get a lot out of them if you're willing to spend the money. I fully understand why people would not be into the PC thing. It's so much easier to just buy a box and know the games will work on it (well most of the time anyway... I'm looking at you, AC: Syndicate! ). With a PC there are so many…

I have both. I much prefer ps4, though. The controller feels better and I hate the interface less. Plus that's where most of my friends are. But at the end of the day, I'ma PC guy. I know graphics are not important, but when I can run a game set to 1440p at 144hz it's so damn hard to look at something running at 30fps…

Energy certainly cannot be destroyed. It can be converted into other states. People definitely can be destroyed. But to that point, I don't think there's any mysterious extra energy floating about after a person dies. When a person dies, cells are still alive, heat is still being radiated off of the body, and a number of…

Statistically it makes sense that there'd be life on other planets. The estimates on the number of exoplanets (and rogue planets) is staggering. Even if we are just considering planets that we'd consider "habitable," which doesn't account for life that could thrive outside what we'd call normal, in the observable universe…

I'm stuck in a black metal loop these days. Human Serpent, Sargeist, Darkthrone, and Mgla are what I keep going to when I'm at work.
