  • 59 calories in raw veggies O.o I'd have to eat 36 tomatoes to reach my daily caloric intake. Or 171 cups of spinach O.o or 60 banana peppers. I think I'm going to lump it all for now.
  • You guys are making me paranoid :( If I cook them I track them... but veggies in the raw cant really be that bad. I'm going to add 'em up and see what happens.
  • Thats great :) My mom and I were thinking about taking classes. Now I dont have an excuse not to find one.

  • I just went through the whole shopping ordeal... there was nothing in my house so I basically had to start from scratch. Here's what I got: * Eggs (or egg substitute) * Fat-free Parmesan cheese * Fresh fruit * Green onions * Jar of minced garlic * Low-fat shredded cheese * Low-fat yogurt * Low-sodium soy sauce * Pre-washed…
  • Update: my arms and thighs feel like... not like jelly... but like... warm stringy jelly... Thats good, right? Lol, fitness win. Thanks guys :)
  • Thank you guys so much!
  • YBB is part of the beach body company...But if you buy it I would NOT recommend buying anything of theirs directly through the company. Their customer service is awful and they sign you up for automatic renewals and send you junk and charge you for it and its very difficult to try and change or cancel your orders.
  • I'm not in the UK, so I'm not sure how easy it will be to get these... I like any of the Yoga Booty Ballet series (yes, I'm serious) The Goddess Workout and the Carmen Electra series is fun too. (I like dance workouts, can you tell? lol :)
  • Hmm. Well. As long as its not going to make me fat. Or kill me. :indifferent: Today.
  • It all starts with mental preparation. There are a lot of steps, but this is the first! And really the most ignored. I too am a smoker, and I've decided not to stop yet... one because, well... i really dont want to. I only know I should. So the mental preparation could take some time. Anyways... Approach both challenges…
  • Okay. To clarify... I'm not EATING salt by the spoonful! lol. I was just making soup and salting to taste... it ended up being like two palmfuls. (Like how you squinch up your hand to make a bowl? So. about two tablespoons.) It just seemed like a lot more because I was shaking salt from a shaker and then just gave up and…
  • So. The only negative thing i have to say: Boo on you. Once upon a time we're all lonely, we're all outcasts, we're all different, and all freaks. We wear different things, we listen to different music, we sleep most of the daylight hours away and thrive at night by the glow of street lamps or our computer screens. But…
  • I know how you feel. My boyfriend got into some REALLY engaging volunteer work over halloween... he was wrecked. I was sad/lonely and doing some sad/lonely eating... What helped was doing some nice things for him. He was too busy for housework, so I'd do that. Make him food thats not ramen and has some nutritious value.…
  • There's been a shortage of fruits and veg everywhere. Bad weather. PS: For those of you who have a Trader Joe's.. it was AMAZING. Also.. if you guys have a China Town or a Little Asia, or even an asian community, look for tofu there. The cheapest tofu and widest variety I've seen ever. (I went to the Asian Market today and…
  • I had a similar problem today when I went out to lunch for chinese food. Now, its probably a little easier to eat healthy when its chinese than when its TRH. Anyways. Yes, I agree with a few of the people on here. If you found nutrition information for your meal, look at it and see if its really worth it. If you decide its…
  • I've always wanted to be goth... but was too lazy. Does that count? Lol. I have a broad range of interests, so working out to Sisters of Mercy might be fun to try. (pirate time!) But I'm here, fairly open minded, and have been described as weird/quirky... so... I think it counts a bit. Not a lot, I'll admit. But a little :)
  • Water is important. Having something hot like broth or tea helps too. Try scheduling AM and PM snacks. Something small and healthy, but with substance. Almonds, carrots, yogurt and grapes. I've also noticed. I always think I'm hungry when someone else is eating. O.o Like when I'm watching TV and someone is eating. Or all…
  • At giant eagle its by the international food section... but its like 10 bucks a jar! Try looking for local ethnic food shops. It should be a better price there. PS: If you're making your own hummus... have you tried Trader Joe's? I just bought some yesterday...have yet to try it.... but compared to other grocery stores,…
  • Thanks you guys! What a warm welcome! Heather: Funny Story. I actually do the program without going to meetings. There's a family curse... we call it the "Hoffmeyer Heiney"... all of the women in my family have booty. And my aunts all did WW and the one who did WW and took salsa lessons beat the curse. Thats what inspired…
