I started this week at 387.6 and dropped to 386.2. I know I didn't do enough exercise, but things have been crazy busy, so I'm proud that the scale went down some. I'm getting myself back in gear this morning. I did drop a few inches though, so I'm proud of that too. I also kinda like the idea of partners. =D Or, like in…

You weigh in here. =D

I started C25K this past week, so I'll be starting week 2 on Monday. I look forward to seeing how you guys like the program as you go. I already love it, even if I am a bit slow and heavy. Good luck!

I love spinach and chicken, so now I HAVE to try this. Thanks for sharing. =D

I agree - your profile pics show such an amazing transformation! Keep it up! =D

Since I'm quite a bit heavier, I'm waiting until September/October to do my first 5K. Well, that, and because I want to get my family involved. My family's all overweight and all the females have been complaining like MAD about it, so I want them to get off their *kitten* and do something about it. But that's beside the…

I'm hoping to be down a few pounds - i'd be happy with three or four, to be perfectly honest. Saturday's supposed to be my rest day, but I'm thinking that since I ate big lunches these past couple of days, I'll probably workout all day Saturday as a Last Chance before the weigh in on Sunday. When I put my goal into the…

Welcome to Slytherin, Heather! You'll love it here!

Thanks. I really appreciate all the support and advice. I finished Week 1 today, and I'm feeling really good. The balls of my feet are a little sore (which is what's preventing me from eating lunch at the moment) since I did Day 3 and mowed my entire lawn back to back without a break, but it kept me sweating, and I loved…

Good morning, Slytherins! Today's my last day of week 1 of Couch to 5K, and I'm so excited to move on to week 2. And I get to do a lot of lawn work today, trying to make the house look a little better so we can get it sold. I really need to start getting up earlier and getting my workouts in throughout the day. I've been…

Well, I know. I'm at a delicate jog, or what taller people would call a brisk walk. I just have a lot of weight on me, so I don't want to kill myself yet. I already enjoy running, and I want to be addicted to it. I want to, when I get to my goal, do it everyday as part of my weight management routine. I can't wait until…

Congratulations! I'm just starting Couch to 5K as well, and so I'll be amazed when I can do what you and your mom just did. That's a massive health NSV. :]

Good morning! I did day two yesterday and I found it soooooo much easier to run the intervals as well. Well, I was at more of a jog, but whatever. I'll pick up the pack after I'm accustomed to jogging. I was so proud of myself yesterday, and I had been in such a non-exercise kind of mood. Doing that workout picked me up…

I loooooooove Evanna Lynch. I think she's an AWESOME Luna. But, that's beside the point. As far as the challenge goes, water isn't an issue with me because its all I drink anymore. I usually get 12-14 glasses of water in a day, but there are some times when I feel like I'm water logged. I have a Nalgene bottle, so I just…

My ultimate goal, which will likely be a couple of years from now, will be a trip somewhere - perhaps to New Zealand, just like the Biggest Loser contestants went to. Just depends though. I'm down nearly 21 pounds now, and the reward for me has mostly just been being able to hear praise from the people supporting me. I…

I'm right between 5'5" and 5'6". I can never really get an accurate reading, so I mostly just say I'm 5'5" now so that I don't have to be measured. I've got a small frame, but I'm extremely obese, so I've got a lot to lose. Thankfully, though, I'm burning through it and I'm already comfortable with the lifestyle changes…

Most of my family that has diabetes got it because of their unhealthy lifestyles, and I don't want to be the next person to get it, especially at so young an age. Plus, I want to be more active and have kids some day, and living a long life where you get to see your kids grow up only comes from living a healthy life.

Hola, fellow Slytherins! There was a Harry Potter fansite called Phoenix Prophecy.net, and I was a Slytherin on there as well, so I'm kinda happy to have been sorted back in to my second favorite house (my first is Ravenclaw, but that's because that is where I think I belong). My favorite Slytherin is Draco Malfoy. He just…

I'm at http://youtube.com/user/nikaface and I'll subscribe to your channel now. :]

Did Week 1, Day 1 today and I feel pretty good. Its rough being so heavy, so I'm not surprised that I struggled, but I never gave up, and that's motivation to make me do it again on Wednesday. :]

Congrats! Keep it going!

@mamiep7: Thank you very much. I appreciate it. @eeeekie: I've got a regular blog on WP too, so I'll subscribe to yours. :]

I hope its not too late to join in - I just happened to see this post. CW: 387.4 GW: 355 (trying to be realistic, though I'm hoping for much lower.)

If you're almost done with Couch to 5K, then the next part is called Bridge to 10K. That way, you don't have to start all over from the beginning - you just pick up where you left off with C25K.

Hi, there! I'm Nika - Welcome to MFP! :]

I find that when I struggle, its usually because something mentally is blocking me and my focus from getting back on track. Take some time to yourself and just think about what you're feeling. In the end, you might find that you were your own worst enemy, but you'll also find the way to get back on track. :]

Hi, Angela! I just recently got out of the 400s myself, so I can definitely relate to where you're starting at. I'm here if you want a friend, someone to talk to, or just for support. I'll send you a friend request. :] Nika.
