He should be more supportive but if you want to stay in this relationship, you will need to negotiate. For instance, why can't he fix meals 3 days a week and you fix meals 3 days a week. I'm no expert but my husband is asthmatic and he does much better after losing weight and exercising. When he flares up, he does yoga on the wii and other wii fit exercises. Staying out of cold air helps him a lot. I would say, do the best you can and focus on weight loss until the asthma gets under better control

In so much pain today, but did go to gym and water walk plus partake of the sauna, whirlpool and steam room. Back on good eating and took some vitamins. I don't take narcotics for pain but suspect if I had some today I would, which is exactly why I don't take them. Will have to muddle thru with advil and hope this passes…
