  • :) Thanks all!! Haha - Gotta keep my old big t-shirt a little longer! Sadly clothing is not in hubby and mines budget right now... =/ But, luckily I have quite a few of my smaller clothes than were never worn and I held onto handy and I've been pulling them out (sad that a 22/24 is my "smaller" clothes, but c'est la vie)…
  • Thank you each and everyone. :) I appreciate all the very kind and sweet comments very much - I wish I could hug each of you personally!! I think what means the most to me is that anyone could look at me and be motivated...I never considered I could motivate anyone else because I'm just me...but that means a lot. I think…
  • Thank you all - I see small changes, but it's just hard when you got so heavy to begin with. And it's hard to realize I have at least another 100 lbs to lose (My mini "goal" is a size 12/14....from there I'll decide if I want to lose more...I just remember that was the last time I felt good in my body and with my size).…
  • It's not unusual...it's just I was asking because I've been told by many people that it's the opposite way around and whether I realize it or not I'm burning more on the elliptical. I was simply trying to get some weigh ins or opinions.
  • I'm a guacamole purist...lol. Just salt and lime and avocados. If you've got really good avocados that's alllllll you need. ;)
  • Thanks all!! It feels good to see the work going somewhere!! You know...it's awesome to me because before I started losing, one of my turning points was being out of breath taking a shower and drying off. I mean, that is horrible. And it's nice to know I've gone from that to being able to get a decent workout in!
  • I don't do "Cheat Days" or even use the word cheat when it comes to my eating - it implies to me that I've done something wrong and have failed a bit. I have meals occasionally where I allow myself a bit of a splurge...but I always make sure I have something healthy alongside whatever that splurge is (A Philly Cheesesteak…
  • I surprisingly have far less bad, crippling sugar cravings anymore and more cravings for things like artichokes or some random veggie or fruit! Been on a huge thing lately for sugar peas. Just too yummy!
  • I feel your pain. This is something I've had to break myself of doing. I was probably like that because growing up we really didn't have a lot most of the time, so we were supposed to eat everything on our plate and not waste food. Which was fine then....but as the eating got out of control it was a bigger deal to eat…
  • I'm good at artistic things. :)
  • I've always known I was overweight....even when I was only 20 lbs or so, I knew I was chubby. It didn't HIT me until after my Dad passed away and I went through basically a horrible year of eating, crying and sleeping and eating some more. When I finally stepped on the scale, I was 368 lbs. I really can't even describe to…
  • I've lost 90 so far and have 100+ to lose (not planning on getting "skinny" at the moment...just want to be HEALTHY...and if my body is more fit and healthy in a size 14 and I'm happy, then so be it!!!)....I welcome any friends! :)
  • Guacamole and Salsa!! Just plain...no bun (not a bun person!)
  • I've lost exactly 90 lbs so far (still have a ways to go!) since October, just changing what I ate, how much I ate and trying to be more active! It CAN be done, by ANYONE! I've just cut my processed sugars, and I eat a lot of veggies and fruit, lean meats, healthier carbs like Kashi cereal, etc. You can do it! If I can…
  • Mexican food....chips, flan, enchiladas....*sigh* Could eat it everyday and not get tired of it - not a good thing!!!
  • I'm all for small goals. Because every other time I've tried to lose weight, I've focused on the big number. Which at one time was the amount of weight I've already lost! But I'd focus on that number so much, I'd get overwhelmed and discouraged and eat another 40 lbs onto myself. I know overall I have about 200 lbs I…
  • Congrats! Lookin' awesome!
  • I've always been big busted...but obviously gaining sooo much weight, they got bigger. lol. Last bra I got before the weight loss started was a 48 or 50 DDD/E. I was shocked...I was going E?!!! Good freakin' grief!! Now however, that bra looks like an 8 year old trying on her mom's bra on me...I think I'm now down to about…
  • Wish I could help - I'm interested to see what others will post for you though! I'm a mexican food nut and sadly, I'm just super at cooking it all the super fattening and yummy way. lol. So any of my recipes would put you over everything for like three days. lol.

  • Oh yeah. Totally feel like that all the time.... =/
  • I'm chiming in with the Girl Scout cookie answer. lol. That was just last year (we've got boxes now, but I haven't touched them) - I EASILY ate a whole box of Samoas or Tag-a-longs....more than once. =/ A box of those 12, coconut crumb, medium sized donuts. Over half a box of wheat thins....a whole box if I had hummus or…
  • Thanks guys! I'm excited to get the next 80 lbs off me!!
  • Candy and soda, were prob my tops. Also, while some bread isn't bad...I was a breadaholic. I would sit down and make cheese soup, and eat like over half a french bread, dipping it in the soup. =/ Mmmm, nothing like white bread and fake cheese soup. *eyeroll*
  • I ditto the figure it out before online. I have to do that. My in-laws are HUGE for eating out and we get sucked into dinner with them a lot. So I've become the Queen of nutritional info for the restaurants we end up at a lot. Some places, there's really not much other than a salad I can even get. But steakhouses always…
  • My only thing I won't touch anymore probably ever, is Soda. Specifically Mountain Dew. That used to be allllll I drank. Now, even when hubby brings home a more naturally sweetened soda or one with Splenda, I can't stomach more than a swallow usually. =/ I'm def just a water, sparkling water and unsweetened tea drinker now.…
  • My "skinny" clothes, are 14's. I've got one pair of jeans I kept, and some shirts that were Mediums that I was wearing when I could wear those (at about 170 lbs). Now, I know that's technically still "obese" for my height, but that's my goal for now, is 170 or size 14. I remember I felt really good and was active and happy…
  • Ooooh yeah. I've had a few unhealthy foods in the last month....but Valentines and around there was the worst. Eating an unhealthy dinner, followed up by chocolate. Ugh...it's took me three days to start to feel normal again. I felt so drained, tried, cranky and just horrible. Not fun. SO not worth it either! =(
  • Well bugger! The edge is cut off them! *le sigh* I added them to my profile pics if you want to see the whole thing on either! =P
  • Thanks! Got it.... Dang...still too huge...lol. *sigh*
