I'm a firm believer that you cannot hate yourself thin. Thinking "I'd like to change this" is one thing, but constant negativity about yourself, I've seen lead so many people to crash and burn and binge, because they feel so much self hatred. One thing I wish I would have worked on earlier in my journey is loving myself…

@chelseafxx forgive the question, but are these really that good? And how about the peanut butter, what's the best flavor? Considering trying that sample pack!

I drink diet mountain dew, coffee, and tea like I can only save the world by defeating it, ahaha. I drink fruit infused water on the next tier down, I am trying to increase it, but it's not really affecting my goals so it's kind of a low priority. I have a glass of really excellent whiskey once a week.

Yeah, what it does is takes the last 7 days (or whatever you set it to. 7 works well for me) and it shows you how your weight is trending, downward or up. It helps a lot if you're struggling with the up and down. One of the disadvantages, to me, of once a week weighing is it has so much more emotional weight (aha) because…

Weight loss isn't linear. 2 pounds is EASILY within water weight, it could be due to your cycle, eating more sodium, drinking, etc. SO many things. This is why I advocate for daily weighing with a weight trender (libra, happyscale, trendweight, etc) because then you start to see patterns and realize that fluctuations like…

I don't know how you define healthy personally, but I usually go for barbecued chicken if they've got it, corn on the cob, etc. At my own, I always make veggie kabobs to go along with, but at someone else's I'm a little at their mercy and just do the best I can. If they're accepting food to go along with, I usually bring…

The anger at myself was so real ahaha. I kept convincing myself it was something to be saved for later, or when I stalled.

Mini goals were important to me losing 60+ pounds, and will be really important when your goal is that large. You're only 9 pounds from the 300s! That's exceptional! I rewarded myself at every ten pounds with something--getting bigger as I got closer to goal weight. My next nine, I'll be at my goal, and I'll get a new…

@ManiacalLaugh you're so much tougher than me! I would have whipped out my diary and gone, "SO WHICH ONE OF YOU WANTS TO TAKE THE HIT TODAY?"
-
The best workout is one you'll do. For me, that's cycling, ballroom dance, and this goofy little baby lifting class my YMCA has. What it is for you, only you can know! I'd try a bunch of different stuff and see which you like the best/hate the least.

I think you look great! I'm 5'3'' and 140, but I maintained at 145 for a year, and honestly if I never lose another pound, it'll be fine. It's easy sometimes, I think, to feel like other people's goals need to be your own, but remember that this is YOUR body and YOUR journey, and if you feel great, there's no reason to…

I go at least once a month with my wife, and I usually eat a small unbuttered popcorn as my lunch, which for me is totally doable. It's like ~530 calories, and I bank for the weekends anyhow, and then I just get a small diet soda.

I eat between 70-90g carbs per day, usually, and I have lost 60 pounds! If your logging is tight, and you're at your deficit, you'll lose weight no matter what you eat. It's about personal preferences and satiety--I could never do keto, I would feel so deprived.

I mean, cardio is the reason I lost weight too, but I just spaced it so MWF was cardio and TTH was lifting, I didn't take it as either/or.

Use something like Libra/Trendweight/Happyscale to keep you from losing it over daily (normal!) fluctuation
-
I log my weight to the tenth of a pound on Libra every day, but I only change it on MFP when it is a full pound, up or down, so like 137.9 and 137.1 are both just 137. I'm always just flat pounds on MFP. Weighing myself every day is a lot of help, and Libra, where I can see a 7-day trend, is even more helpful to making me…

I maintained for a year, year and a half. I was planning a wedding and that took up a lot of my time, and I didn't want to fight with it at the time, and I had been losing for two years, I'd lost 30% of my original body weight, I mean, it was okay to cut myself some slack and enjoy myself. I only gained 5 pounds, and only…

Oh man, sometimes my moods change!! I've lost my 60 pounds going through weeks of having a few chicken wings and some beer, and some weeks of eating a ton of salad and an entire air popped popcorn. It seems to come in waves of a couple months each, it's the weirdest thing. Actually, it's what makes CICO work for me so…

It totally depends on the person. For me, "Clean" eating makes me crave stuff, because anytime I "can't" have something, I want it even more. If it's "I can totally have this if I make adjustments to my day" it loses its power over me. Sometimes I really, really wanted a glazed, yeast-raised doughnut. So I get one, I mess…

You might find it helpful to run a weekly deficit. I bank for the weekends, and it's made my life 100x happier and better, and I feel pretty free and undeprived.

39-29.5-40 Pretty much an hourglass type I used to be something like 44--40--47 so no one here give up hope!
-
I'm a weekend calorie banker, so I'm just also banking today, and I really went for it this week--assuming I don't slip and fall into a cake or something tonight, I'll have something like 3,000 calories for tomorrow without even leaving my deficit.

That infused gazpacho sounds AMAZING I'll probably just pick up one of the higher-rated ones on Amazon then! Thanks all!

Every Monday I put honest to God, from the can, whipped cream in my first cup because OH MY GOD MONDAY. I just put it in my calories. I'm losing with no trouble. Honesty is more important than giving up a thing you love. That said, I drink it with a packet of fake sugar most times.

I've lost about 54-58 pounds (weight being a range), and here are my tips. -Find something you like to do and do it. It doesn't matter what it is. I do cycling, a little body class at my Gym, and ballroom dance. Those aren't the best or worst of anything--they're just things I enjoy and so I'll do them. -get it out of your…

I eat carbs! I eat air-popped popcorn nearly every night--sometimes with parmesan, ranch seasoning, whatever I feel like. I lost about 50 pounds paying attention to none of my macros--just pure CiCo. Now that I'm in the last 10-15, I pay attention to my protein. Sometimes. Maybe. Don't believe that you have to torment…

3 cups popcorn with a tablespoon of chocolate chips--if you do it while you popcorn is hot, and stir well, it coats each piece in a light chocolate glaze, and it's, my god, so good. And it's like...220 calories? Depending on the brand of chocolate chips, and it takes a long time to eat, and it's filling. It's great. Oh,…

Chiming in because I'm 5'3'' and started at 200 pounds, so we might have similar experiences. I've been at this for about 2.5 years, with 1 year of maintenance because I was planning a wedding and didn't want to set myself up for failure, and now back to losing. I am now 142 pounds, and have about 12 to go to my goal…

You look prettier and healthier now or at your original weight than in the middle picture. At the end of the day, the only person you need to please is you, but yes, too thin in the middle.
