  • So interesting, because the last two days have been the exact same way for me. I have been upset and stressed out these last few days especially, mostly because of work and have not been eating my calories. And I know that I end up suffering in the long wrong because of it. This morning I woke up feeling more optomistic…
  • I don't have skin issues like that, but I have had deal with facial hair for a long time now, so I feel your pain. It is such an embarrassing symptom of PCOS and if I'm not on top of it, it can be noticeable. If you haven't been to this forum before, here is a link with a real Dr.'s advice about PCOS boils.…
  • How wonderful for you and congratulations on never giving up! I'm not a happy crier, but I'm a happy dancer:laugh: !
  • Thank you for sharing your weight loss journey and giving me some needed inspiration. Also glad to read you did it the old fashioned, hard-one way. Way to go and keep up the amazing job!
  • My daughter ( who doesn't eat meat) showed me this funny youtube video last night about how a Mcdonald's hamburger and french fries didn't decompose after four years, it's pretty wild. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IGtDPG4UfI You might want to skip some of the boring interviewy stuff. But at the end she shows what a…
  • Love me a crock pot recipe when fall rolls on in. In fact I just put this in my crockpot today: Steel Cut Pumpkin Oatmeal: Use butter spray on inside of crock pot first to prevent sticking Add Ingredients: 1 cup steel-cut oats 1 can of 100% pumpkin puree 2 cups water 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or any liquid…
  • HA! I am in total agreement on that one. I use to half-listen to what Dr. Oz said and then found out he promotes supplements on his show that have no scientific basis. That said, this thread is hilarious. My theory is: everything in good old moderation fun!
  • I had the same thoughts as you. I just put my diary open for my friends and then I read your post. I will just have to see how I feel about it over time. I have struggled for close to twenty years with obesity and going up and down on the scale. I am an expert at losing weight and also an expert at gaining it back.…
  • Yes, I agree-no perfect eating plan. Especially because everyone is different. I am loving the Ezekial line of sprouted grain breads and tortillas right now, it really helps me with feeling full and satisfied and I don't get hungry. Thanks you guys for responding!
  • Yes, me too! The more the merrier-people that is-not pounds! Feel free to add me as a friend!
  • I was just wondering about supplements as well and if there are any that actually encourage hair growth (on your head-no place else please!). I was just looking at some advertisements today and I just always assume that none of them work.
  • So interesting and a great motivator to keep exercising even if I'm not loosing weight. Of course we all now how beneficial exercise is, but sometimes I need extra incentives to keep me going!
  • So nice to read this information from someone who has gone through it, thanks so much!
  • Thanks for the encouragement and I appreciate the work you are trying to do. Read your article in the other post and it was nice to read this information from someone who actually went through it themselves.
  • Encouraged to see this group, just joined fitnesspal yesterday. Was diagnosed with PCOS about 6 years ago in my early thirties, but I'm pretty sure I've suffered since late teens. Had not even heard of it until the gyno wrote it down for me and told me to look it up, which I did and of course the best the thing is to loose…
