I've been doing it for 6 days straight, today is my 7th. I got really achey the first few days but I pushed through. So far I've lost 4.5 pounds and two inches around my waist. No too shabby for a week, eh?

You guys need to stop being so anal over the phrase "treat yourself," lol. The more healthy I'm getting, the less I actually feel like having sh*tty food I've found. Now, it actually makes me feel blah when I have things that are high in sugar/salt. So I tend to avoid. I do occasionally crave sugar/salt/fast food though…

Two words; Interval training. That sure as hell doesn't give you time to think it's boring with how badly you're kicking your own *kitten*.

Awesome post! I've always been afraid of upping my calories when I'm trying so hard to lose weight, I felt as if I might sabotage my own weight loss. But.. it's nice to know someone has upped their calorie intake had success and is short like me, thank you!! :D

I have PCOS as well, had it since 16 or 17. I recently really got dedicated to losing the weight, I went from 175 to 159 in about 3 months. I am finding it harder as I get smaller to lose the weight, it's stubborn, but with persistence, it will come off!

I find just having a friend (on this site) to talk to kind of helps my urge to over eat. I don't have an eating disorder or anything, but lately after I have eaten something sh*tty I do feel the need now to go purge it up, I think about it a lot. But have only done it once. I can only tell you what has helped me and that…

Oh, I'm interested in knowing this as well!

Oh my god. I laughed, thanks, needed that. :'D

PCOS girl here. Found out when I was 17, now 21. What helps the symptoms for me is losing weight and watching what I eat. My symptoms have decreased a lot, it's really amazing. Feel free to add if you want. :)

And this is why I have begun to lift things up and put them down. Such an inspirational thread!

I don't think this is a competition to see who has it worse then who. To OP, you're just going to have to get ahold of yourself and if you really want to stop, stop. There is an easy solution--quit buying the crap. The only thing you're going to get as far as "withdrawal symptoms" is being moody and having some headaches…

So much want!!

Omg, I want to try these!

I'm 21 and I have about 40 pounds to lose, I'd be happy to encourage ya :D

Depends on what you're sick with. If it's anything to do with the chest area or a flu (shortness of breath, coughing, chest congestion) then the answer is a big fat no. If it's something like a minor cold, light to moderate exercise isn't going to kill you. But should be kept at a low level. I got this info from a doctor…

Wow, you have a nice little tummy now! Way to go!
-
You're quite welcome! x :)

Feel free to add me! We are around the same age and have about the same amount to lose!
-
Yup this site definitely helps me! :) I've also been here since September and I've lost a decent amount!

Daaayum girl! You looking good!!

35 minutes of Tae Bo cardio. 20 minutes of dancing. 10 minutes of strength training. 6 minutes of squats. My muscles are on FIREEEEE.

This topic makes me laugh. You saying "don't post if you don't like" is just silly-talk. Everyone has an opinion, you posted yours, expect to get negative feedback. It's just how it is, brah. My take on this is really attempt to just mind your own business and focus on yourself. If someone is there in the gym, they paid to…

Um, how can you see yourself as a spinster when you're not even out of your 20's? It' not unusual for people to not date, I didn't for the longest time. Everyone is different. I didn't get my first kiss until I was almost 19. I'm now 21 and I've only dated two guys in all that time. Both of which asked me out because I'd…

Hi there, at my highest weight I was about 195ish (13st), I say "ish" because I never got on a scale at that time. But from the pictures I have, I was no doubt pretty close to 200 at 5'3".Also, I am not on Metformin, if that's relevant at all, only birth control. Anyway, I have managed to get down to 159 (11st) and I have…
