I am trying to lose 10 lbs as well. I'm 147 and 5'8. I got down to 135 about 6 months ago workout out with a trainer and watching what I ate over a 4 month period. But once I stopped with the trainer I kinda let myself go and gained it all back. So starting over again.

It looks like you just have a baby recently from your profile. I would just take it slowly and rebuild you core muscles slowly before doing anything too strenuous. I am set at only losing .5 lb a week so MFP gave me 1750 and I eat back 1/2 of my exercise calories. I am still hungry even with this amount and I knew from experience that I personally can't go much lower than that. I have about 10 lbs to lose though.

I agree with taking a smaller portion of a main dish and add lots of filling but low cal veggies or veggie broth based soup. I eat lots of cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, zucchini which are all pretty cheap. Also, I make some veggies ahead of time for the rest of the week so you don't…
