It's sad that people think they're being helped by the companies that are out there to make money off of people who are helpless and just don't have an idea where to start. You're right, educating people would be a much better step but of course, they wouldn't make half as much money from that.

Hey Christy! I was in your shoes and still am! I was 364lbs but I'm down to 238, still have a little bit to go so I know what it's like to see a big number and only small changes. I'm active every day, logging and socialising too! Add me :)

Just a quick one, did you eat back all of your calories burnt?
-
private profile but the current one shows awesome progress. congrats man!

Wish them luck, if they ask me for advice I will give it but I'm not going to push something onto someone if they want to learn from their mistakes, it's their choice. People make weight loss harder than it needs to be!

You've got this dude, don't let excuses get in the way of your goals. You have everything you need to throw yourself into this! Waking up in the morning if you hate it, won't work long term. It may for some people but for others, it will just deter you from working out. Take a little time at the end of your day or at the…

We all have little things that motivate us in different ways. You may look at old pictures and think holy *kitten*, what did I do?! Personally, I'm motivated by the changes and progress I make. Firstly, I was motivated by watching fitness and motivation videos on YouTube. Now, I love pushing out another rep, a higher…

Take down the what whey, supplement, workout program do you use threads!

Wait, hold on? Isn't that why people are here.. to get results? Regardless of what people say or do, you shouldn't be putting anyone down for their opinions. If everyone had the same opinion, it would make the world a *kitten* place but taking the piss out of someone for having an opinion that differs from yours is a bit…

Well then. Herbalife sucks, agreed. Being a tosser about it, disagree.
-
But wouldn't you say they are also addicted, which then leads to their lack of self control? If addiction is the problem, lack of self control a symptom.
-
I believe people can become addicted to anything. I don't think the boundaries of addiction are restricted. Does an alcoholic, smoker or drug-user have a problem with self control?
-
Addiction is a diagnosed problem, a person can become addicted to anything. Just because the public awareness isn't as high as Alcohol, drugs or gambling etc. doesn't mean it's not a problem.

The ingredients included in Herbalife aren't good for you at all. It's false representation of good health. It's expensive and if you want the full benefit, you have to spend over the odds for supplements which aren't included in the 'balanced meal' shakes. You could spend a lot less, at a shop and get more natural…

Congratulations on your loss! I'm not taking anything away from that, losing weight can be hard. But Herbalife isn't the reason you lost weight, eating less calories than you are required to burn daily is the result! If it works for you and you enjoy it, then fair play! Our opinions differ.
-
Herbalife was founded in 1980.
-
Both lists are debatable; Pros -Weight loss? Is that really sustainable over a long period of time? Once you come off of Herbalife, what happens then? -How does it give you better health than eating nutrient full, protein rich foods? Cons -Time? How? It's quicker than making a meal. - Dedication? You have to dedicate time…
