I can see why you might do it as a timesaver, and I like the idea of adding veggies. I haven't really eaten those things in a while but aren't they kind of expensive too? Consider the pros and cons for you, just remember that smart ones or any prepackaged meals aren't a necessity to losing weight. :)

I'm 5'5' (or was it 5'6"? I can never remember) and at my heaviest weight of 217 I wore a size 16. I currently weigh 170 lbs and I'm just now starting to squeeze into 13's...barely. I blame roller derby for my thunder thighs and big booty. I still love them though. :heart:

Mine are mostly noise related. If you get on a bike or treadmill and proceed to have a full on conversation on your cellphone, I want to murder you. I also can't stand loud, excessive grunting when people are lifting weights. Are you lifting weights or trying to go #2?

I think whether you agree or not is irrelevant, what matters is whether or not you're willing to work with what you've got. Even if you do have a slow metabolism, are you just going to sit back and accept it or are you going to do the extra work?

Like most people have already said, you can have chocolate, just do so in moderation. If you try to completely deny yourself you might lose control one of these days and scarf down an entire bag of snickers. Just work it into your calorie budget.

I usually eat around 1800 every day and try to get a good mix of foods and lots of fiber. I'm rarely (if ever) hungry and still have my little splurges. Fall! The leaves are gorgeous and the weather is perfect, I'm a total wimp when it comes to temperature extremes. I knit a lot, so I get to wear all of my pretty hand knit things. Plus all of the delicious seasonal cinnamon and pumpkin flavored treats come out, yum!

Either eat your calories back or up your daily intake and don't eat them back. I was eating about 1400 for a while and I was only losing about 1/2 lb a week. Now I'm more like 1800 and I'm actually losing faster. I know it's counterintuitive, but I'm not the only one who's had this happen.
