First of all, great pic! My husband would approve. Fishing's his passion. Second of all, how are you eating now? I'm not sure what advice to give you without knowing what your typical day looks like food-wise.

"I don't have time." Yes you do. Do you have time to watch your favorite TV show? Browse the internet? Talk on the phone? Then you have an hour...half hour...ANYthing...to exercise.

Okay. Did it. I got interrupted - someone came into the bathroom - on #50. But I waited till she left for the last 5. LOL And I just realized that Day 1 is only 50. Oh well. I'll do 55 again for Day 2. :) Maybe I'll do crunches too. The same number as squats on each day...

Well, I'm late to the game, but I'm going to start today. I may actually do several days in one during my lunch breaks. If I can. But I'm feeling like I need to change it up, do something fun, and this will work just fine! Off to do Day 1...in heels! LOL

I didn't read all of these, but is there really anyone who would leave their hair DOWN?

You know...as much time as I've spent on this site, I've never heard it put just like that. Just a measurement of the earth's gravitational pull on my body...I like that. As a believer in God, I also know that this body merely holds my soul. And my heart. And everything that's good. Everything that truly makes me, well,…

And YOU have made ME want to cry. :) Thank you for all of your support. My husband is wonderful, but it's different than having a group of friends who totally get it. Oh, I know you haven't been exactly where I've been, but you get it. Because you've been thereto a different extent. All of you have. Thank you. I know I'm…

Thank you. All of you. As I've said and will keep saying - God put you all in my life to help me. Ultimately, it's He who has helped me, but he did so through each and every one of you. haybales - the binging wasn't during a time of lifting. LOL. It was on vacation. It wasn't my body trying to bulk. Believe me. But, thank…

Thanks everyone. I don't have a set of calipers yet. I know I should get them so I can measure BF...maybe I will soon.

I no longer do JM, but she did get me from doing my push-ups on my knees to doing them the "real" way, so she has a special place in my heart. My faves were Ripped in 30 and Shed and Shred. Those two, I have kept even though the others I'm giving away. They offer a good thing to change it up once inawhile. But I'm doing a…

What a fantastic post!!! Just reading it made me so happy. I could totally feel your positive energy! Keep it up, gorgeous!

Awww...so cute! I have those picture cards you can make at Chuck E Cheese? You know what I'm talking about? Me with my baby girl. :)

I've been eating spaghetti squash like I eat my salads - as a base. Then I throw in everything from shrimp and mushrooms with garlic sauce to a Vegan Boca Burger with my thai sauce (made with soy and PB2).

Wow. See, I was going to say I feel the same way and have decided to change my routine. Until I saw your pictures. THAT is the kind of gain I would have loved! Instead, my muscle gain looks like flab unless I'm flexing. Then I love it. But overall, I've been miserable with my body, so I'm switching things up and no longer…

gad - you're probably right. That's why I asked my doctor only to weigh me if she thinks I'm too thin or too big,and she was great and agreed that was a good idea. And the bloating from lifting doesn't help. Today, for example, I feel great even knowing I'm bigger. I'm not retaining too much water. But no worries, you…

Yes. I feel the same way. I LOVE lifting. I LOVE it. Beeps - I know because I've gone up a couple sizes. ED stands for Eating Disorder...so really, it's good I've one up. I needed to. I was wearing double zeros, and those were big on me. Now, I'm size 2/4. They're a little big, but zeros are too tight around my squat booty…

I had a great Stage 3/A last night. I hit a PR with my bent over rows (95lbs), and for the planks, I did the first time lifting a leg for 30s each, the second time with my hands on the stability ball (90s) and the third time I did it with my feet up on the ball (60s) Honestly, the hardest part for me is by that point, my…

This thread is making me feel so much better! What about...short women with big (but muscular) thighs? I'm not quite 5'2, and sometimes, I feel like such a monster!!
-
I THINK, but I can't remember, that I started out with about 60 on squats, 50 on DLs, 15lb DBs on shoulder press, and step-ups 45lbs on 12" rise. I very quickly progressed on the squats though, DLs took a bit more time, but I got to 85 in stage 1. shoulder press I only got to 20lb DBs. I can't remember the rest. Beeps -…

I just want to thank you for this thread! I have a hard time loving mine. I see pics during the worst of my ED, and I grow jealous sometimes of how tiny my thighs were even though, in my head, I knew they were unhealthy. I was unhealthy. I haven't measured mine in awhile, but the last time I did they were 21" I don't love…

I didn't have any DOMS with stage 1 either. It was really weird. No matter how much I upped the weights...but with 2 and especially 3! My goodness!! NEW for me this week. I was too sore from stage 3 to even think about working on my pushups. I'll try to do so this week, though. And maniac, yup - the RDLs are nuts! Love it!
-
Haha! I did B today.Man...YTWL is so tough! Especially doing it on the stability ball. I have a bench, the metal part of the whole apparatus gets in the way. Having to do it on the stability ball - after doing back extensions on the ball - really hurts your lower back. I only did 5 lbs, but that's ok.
-
Girl, you're too hard on yourself! Popcorn may be a lot of carbs, but it's protein and a lot of other good stuff. Not to mention yummy! Have fun lifting! I actually did NOT workout yesterday. My hamstrings are still pretty darn sore, but I'm doing 3/B today anyway!
-
Tonight, I do Stage 3/B, but I have a problem. For YTWL, I have a bench, but the metal on the sides get in the way. Does that make sense? I can't do the T. I may not be able to do the W or L. Any suggestions?

Oh, I meant I love Stage 3! Not necessarily the BWM, though I like the competitiveness of it. I can't believe my second time was better, although, if I'm honest with myself, I think my lunge jumps were pretty pathetic. LOL I'm not sure if I will workout today either. I'm thinking, if I'm not too tired after work, of doing…

Okay, so my thoughts on 3/A: I thought the snatches were fun and not quite as difficult as I thought they'd be. I did 20lb DBs, but I think I'll try 25 next time. Bent-over rows, I started where I left off in Stage 1 (80) but upped to 85. I loved the one-legged DLs! LOVED! Did 20s. May try 25 next time. Bench Press - 20DB…

Awesome, Gadenni, you did FABULOUS!!!! That's amazing! Beeps - my thighs had always been big until I stopped eating. Well, duh. Then they were so thin for so long that now that I'm building muscle again (they were big as a kid from ballet), I just can't get used to them. Plus, the whole water retention thing in them most…

gadenni - your post made me smile!!! Yay! Congrats! I'll look forward to seeing your stats!

I'm happy for you but jealous. LOL My thighs went the other way. *sigh*
