Oh, man! I LOVE PB2...this sounds amazing. My problem would be not eating twenty servings!

This is fantastic! I read the thread title and thought, "Oh, no. Not ANOTHER thread about how women should do more cardio and less weights." Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. It is pretty funny to watch other people eat. I just went out to lunch with a co-worker of mine, and she got the same thing I did - soup…

Well, I have to be honest. Last night was more LNS than me. It wasn't horrible, but if I am going to be strict with this...I will offer up an excuse though. LOL Last night turned out to be several unplanned events = wine = late hours. Me: 11 LNS: 3 This is still a huge accomplishment considering the way I used to be!

Hi dewdrop! I'm new. Nice to meet you! My cut-off is 9pm. That's late, but we normally don't eat dinner until 7. Me: 11 LNS: 2

That is so awesome, Beeps! I'm so happy and excited for and proud OF you!!! I haven't made it into the double digits in years. Heck, even my little number is a record for me. I've been telling myself and telling myself I need to cut these late night eating things out, and I haven't. So I can appreciate how excited you must…

Me: 7 LNS: 1

Yay Beeps!

Me: 6 LNS: 1 I will count last night as a loss. I didn't eat super late as I used to, but I ate later than my cut-off. I admit.

Ooooh, that purple bike is gorgeous! I used to ride until I met my current husband. He strongly urged me not to and takes the time to point out every motorcycle-related accident he hears about. So, out of respect for him and also because I now have a family to think about, I no longer ride. I miss it though. The best was…

Another night down! Me: 4 LNS: 0 I have noticed my stomach seems flatter. Is this common?

Well, I am glad I started during the week, when it's easier. Then maybe, seeing how it actually worked, and I could actually do it will help me get through the weekend successfully! :)
-
And this. Gosh, ya'll say it a lot better than I do! :)

So true. Oh my goodness, my heart pumps when I'm lifting right!

I didn't read through this whole thread, but I wanted to add my .02. I don't think, at least in my MFP circle, anyone is name-calling. No one is saying cardio is BAD, per say. However, straight cardio mostly benefits those training for something like a marathon. HIIT or tabata style cardio is much healthier for your heart…

Thanks! I'm nervous about the weekends. I think it will be a lot harder. Especially if they are social evenings. But so far, I am... Me: 3 LNS: 0 I am really proud of myself, doing this. I almost went for another snack last night, but fortunately I was way too tired anyway and just went to bed. The weekends will be the…

That's great, Beeps! Me: 2 LNS: 0 Wahoo! This isn't easy, but it's working. Now, I'm just waiting to see some positive results because of it.

Yay! I did it! And I was even in bed early! I think this will help me get more sleep, also, because I tend to stay up for that last snack late at night... So, since I only started this last night, I'm 1, LNS 0!

I so need to join this group. I have gotten into a habit where I schedule in my late-night snacking!! It's horrible! So...I did not start on June 1, but I will start today. My cut-off time will be 8pm. We usually eat such a late dinner...see, that's my problem. We eat dinner around 7, and then I usually eat again between 9…

Today, this morning, after my typical breakfast, I was craving something. I didn't know what. But my protein and calorie-filled breakfast wasn't cutting it. I needed something. I saw the peanut butter in the pantry. I had two spoonfuls. And was very satiated. It was just what I needed!

Scariest rule to let go of. That's easy. Forgetting the rice/pasta/bread thing since I do think that caused my stomach cramps, I'd say the very scariest is fried foods. I just can't see myself letting go of that and eating fried foods. I can't. Other than maybe the occasional bite or two. I'm reading more, though. :) And -…

Okay, so I bought the book, and the more I read, the more I realize how very CAREFUL an eater I am and how disordered that really is. I mean. I know I'm in recovery and still have issues. But I've been telling myself for years now that I'm just eating healthfully. Yet... * I set certain times to eat and go crazy when…

I am 100% the careful eater. As I'm sure those of you who know me have accurately assumed based on my past. LOL. I'm considering buying the kindle version of this book, so I can read it when I have down time at work (on the Cloud :) ) I really want to learn to eat intuitively, and I'm not entirely sure I know what that…

I don't know. I think it's really hard to think through every thing you eat. Sometimes, at least for me, I'm not even sure why I'm eating what I'm eating and when I'm eating it. Sometimes, I just really want it - like yesterday and my spoonful of peanut butter. Other times, I recognize the signs my body gives for needing…

Becca, I think it's so awesome how far you've come! I can't imagine having a trigger food in the house and not binging. I have tried on occasion, and sometimes it works. But most of the time it doesn't. But I'll either rearrange all my other calories to make room for the binge...or...as recent as a few nights ago, purge.…

We're doing brunch with my in-laws this year. I'm always the one that brings the token "heatlhy" dish, so I'm bringing egg white turkey sausage quiche. I eat healthy out of habit, holiday or not. :)
