I feel the same way with FSSP. I increased last time from 45 (the bar) to 50, but it seems to hit the collar of my shirt in a way that my shirt rubs my collar bone. Phew! First B yesterday, and my body is feeling it! Full-body DOMS and loving it!!! Took me about 68 minutes for the whole thing, including warm-up and intervals at the end. Man I love this program!

I definitely want in on this, and I choose push-ups!!! I want to increase the number I can do in a row without stopping. Right now, I'm at 20 on a good day, so long as I haven't exhausted my arm beforehand. LOL. But really, I'm at 15 on average. I'm in!!!

Well, I am NO expert, but based on the book...I don't think you should do both at the same time. I'm not even sure you should be doing NR if you're going to be training for distance running. According to the book, distance running counterbalances your lifting. You can't train for endurance as well as strength because…

I would. Maybe don't do it for the full 8 weeks, but I would do at least half that. 4 times of each exercise. Just to remind your body of the basics and get back into shape.

Absolutely not! That'd kill me! LOL The workouts aren't meant to be done in the same day. I rotate them, Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

This is awesome! My DLs aren't as good as my squats. I'm squatting 115 (but will up it tonight b/c it's the last Stage 1/A workout!), but I'm only doing 95 with my DLs. Weird, I know. Most people are better with DLs.

I'm wrapping up Stage 1 this week, and I've definitely gotten stronger! I'm pretty proud of myself, but I want to see more muscle definition! I thought I'd see more by now!

I was going to get an iPhone 4s when my contract runs out in December - a refurbished one for free. But I heard today no more Google Apps on Apple! So, no thanks! Plus, the 4 is still 3G. I'm thinking of going for the Droid. We'll see.

Sometimes, when I go to the bathroom, I use the handicapped stall and do pushups and squats and stuff. You could sit on a balance ball. I knew a guy who did that. My boss keeps weights in her office, so I occasionally go in there and do a few bicep curls or something.
