^ this. If you calculated exercise into your TDEE then don't eat them back, MFP will give you an average to eat. Personally, I eat mine back and they're not calculated into TDEE.

I just started this, after 3 months of eating 1200-1300 because I figured the numbers were "lying" to me so I had to eat under. I started feeling faint and not all that great, plus even though I was working out 6x a week I gained 2lb (water weight from muscles having no recovery time, I know) and saw no other weight loss.…

Please feel free to add for support. =) Age: 32 Height: 5"5 SW: 239 CW: 218 Goal: 150 I work from home so I'm not the most active of people, but I do couch25k 3x a week. I eat 1500 on non-workout days (burning on average 2000 according to fitbit, leaving me at a 500 calorie deficit) and eat back 1/2 of my workout calories.

I don't use myfitnesspal to track exercise, it's not user friendly at all and tends to over calculate the calories burned. I do love fitocracy where you're given a point system instead of a calorie system, and I use my fitbit linked to myfitnesspal, so I can see exact numbers. Just a personal preference though of course.

There are a ton of body weight exercises available out there. Squats, planks, jumping jacks, sit ups, lunges, bridges, calf raises, etc etc etc . Your body IS your gym.

I got my fitbit as a birthday present back in April and I absolutely love it. I clip it to the inside of my bra, between the girls as it were, and it's incredibly secure and I've never lost it. Of course sometimes I forget to wear the wristband to monitor sleep, but that's not a big deal. If you like looking at charts and…

You can't lose weight in areas you specifically point to (spot training in other words, is a myth). You can lose weight over all, and you can build muscle in those areas (squats, etc) but losing weight in just a specific area doesn't work that way. I've no idea what this diet is like, but unless it's combined with…

The very first thing I thought in response is because they're hungry. =) Honestly, there are some folks like this in every forum known to the internet. For whatever reason (I'm sure there are many). Best bet is to just pay more attention to how you personally act, because at least that is something you have control over.…

Losing weight is 70% what you eat, and 30% exercise. You're going to have to make some changes, and make them slowly. Like others have mentioned it's not a race, it's a marathon. A life change. If you know yourself (and you should) and you know that going cold turkey is just going to make you want to binge eat, then don't…

Different things work for different people. I personally don't eat my calories back. I eat 1200-1500 a day, work out lightly and have a fairly quiet non-active lifestyle (I work from home) though I do some light strength training every day, and cardio 3x a week. When MFP asks if you have a non-active lifestyle to figure…

None, but I have sent a few out, and I do write a message with it. =)

Ottawa Ontario, and holy bleep what is with mother nature lately! Almost 30 last week and -2 this week? She is a fickle creature...

Welcome - I didn't read all 15 pages because honestly none of that matters. When I first started out I just wanted to feel better emotionally, my goals were not weight loss. I started out doing really simple weights at my desk. It's been two months now, and I do a whole lot more, and I'm down almost 15 pounds. I didn't…
