Thank you for the warm welcomes. @Twibbly, the link was great and yeas way better options than jumping on the scale ! I used to be a slave to it, I would step on it every time I went into the bathroom LOL. I also joined the meatavore challenge to help keep me on track :)

Gonna give this a whirl to help me stay on track. New to this, so my goal is to stay 20gm or less carbs, and lots of meat and water. Starting weight is 258 waist 41" hips 51" Be nice to see all those numbers go down.

Thanks for all your input! I added the magnesium supplement 2 days a go and last night , no leg cramps ! What a relief that was. Also after rereading a bunch of posts I found I wasn't drinking enough water. Up to about 100 oz. I think I slosh when I walk ;)

Monday Mini Challenge: Food -Stayed under calories & had a banana for my sweets ! Cardio - 10 minutes of slows paced walk .... Strength - 50 crunches !! Water - drink at least 64 ozs and then some !

Thirsday: Carb reduction is everyday as I am on low carb already. Did 30 mins cardio but totally missed the strength training. Water was good !!

Wed: Not a good food day, I went for the popcorn for a snack instead of a fruit :( Workouts today were an epic fail ! Got in my water & then some as my work schedule was really messed. Back on track tomorrow !

Got my 6 meals in & all my water. Didn't get all the exercises done, my artificial knees just don't like to do lunges LOL!!

Monday: Drank all my water Walked briskly for 30 minutes Did 50 crunches Stayed under my calorie count !

I know what you mean about going through life "needing to lose weight" I am at the beginning of my journey so can't really relate to where you are at. I think if you just relax, & lose more (the 15) you will know during the time that it takes whether it needs to be 15,10 or maybe just 5. Only you will be the final judge of…
