ejwme, thanks for the info. Like I said, I don't "hurt" or have "pain", it is just general sore muscles. Nothing out of the norm for a good workout, and to be honest, I expect it to ease up and go away after a few days of the new workout. I think I'll try a day off in the middle of the week just to see how I feel. I…

For the past 3 months I have been spending 30 minutes on the treadmill walking/running (working my way up in time and speed) and then I do the 11 minute workout with the resistance bands and finish it off with some push-ups and sit-ups. Monday was the first day I bumped the treadmill up to 40 minutes (5 walk/30 run/5…

Thanks for the advice gang. BTW...I didn't go from 15 min to 30 min in one step....it was over the course of about 3 or 4 different steps. But, I feel like I'm getting there. I never thought I woudl be able to run a 5K, but I guess I'm not that far away.

I wouldn't consider it a diet, and time will tell if I can sustain it, but just keeping track of my calorie intake and exercise has worked so far. I haven't cut out anything, I eat the same things I did before, just not as much of it.

half hour on the treadmill (5min walk, 20 min jog, 5 min walk) thena about 10 min of light resistance band work with some push ups 5 days a week. I'm not saying that I'm NOT burning muscle, but it sure doesn't feel like it. Everything is getting easier.

2080, not counting exercise.

Thanks. I feel like I could continue to eat the way I do now without any problem, but like you said, I don't want to keep losing weight to the point of being unhealthy. I figure it will be a little trial and error to find out just how many calories will keep me at that weight.

Correct. And I'm in no hurry to lose the last 16 pounds. Just trying to learn as much as I can. Like I said, is there really a benifit to eating 1400 rather than 1200? Asuming I'm not going hungary or feeling any ill effects.
-
I'm not dissapointed with my results, very happy actually. All I'm saying is that I am having trouble wrapping my head around the idea that if I eat more, I will continue to lose the same amount, or more.

I hear a lot about the "starvation mode", but to be honest, I find it kind of hard to believe that taking in 1200 calories rather than 1400 will put you into starvation mode. But then again, there are a lotof people much smarter than me when it comes to nutrition. Did you mean one half pound per week or one to two pounds…

I am under almost every day, with the exception of the occasional day off. I have more energy and feel better now than I have in years. I am losing weight, but not much more than the 2lb/week. I am thinking that there is something wrong with my numbers, because I doubt I would lose any weight if I at as much as MFP says I…

I work out first thing in the morning, and I find that if I don't eat something rich in protein afterwards, I feel sore the folowing days. I have tried eating with and without protein and it definately makes a difference with me.

As per my daughter, who is an athletic trainer, roll a frozen water bottle on your shins. LIke was mentioned, it's stress fractures.

5 days a week (take a break on the weekends). I spend 30 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes working out with resistance bands. The weight came off a lot quicker the first month, not so much as of late.

Runners high? I used to jog on a fairly regular basis years ago, and have been doing 2 miles a day/5 days a week for the past 3 months, but I can't say I feel much more than tired. :) And occasionally sore in the knees. :(

Like was mentioned, there are some foods that I will never be able to exclude all together, but they are not good for me. Wings and beer in particular. I don't eat them as often as I used to, but when I do, I don't worry about what they are doing to me. I eat till I'm done. This might not be the best approach, but it keeps…
