  • I just gave the first day of the beginner workout a go yesterday, and it really put me in my place. I just gave it my best shot, and didn't do the "let me in's" because I have to figure out where to do them (probably the post of our deck). I began pushups on the floor, but quickly had to move my way up to counter top…
  • Autumn: feel free to add me if you'd like. I'm 115, had a pretty flat stomach to begin with, but since trying to up my protein each day my stomach has been bloated almost 24/7. I'm still trying to figure it out, as I am not accustomed to this type of look or feel in my stomach unless I'm on my period. I can only assume it…
  • Any others still doing this routine? I just bought the book and am eager to have a go at it.
  • Love this. This was the car I wanted when I was young. <3 My father has a 67 Firebird convertible, in a slightly brighter forest green. Nothing like driving around in an old muscle car.
  • What is the days per level for ripped in 30?
  • Did day 1 tonight. Liking it so far.
  • I'm thinking of adding this into my weekly routine. Just finished 30 Day Shred, and I'm thinking of trying to do my next month of exercise by alternating routines to keep it interesting & hopefully get a fuller workout. *runs off to see if there is a ripped in 30 group*
  • Thanks for sharing those Chloe, I'm going to add them into my weekly routine. I just started my second day of Killer Buns & Thighs level 1, & I must say it's kicking my butt a little, and also a bit rough on the knees again.
  • I think you've got the ladies attention. Fantastic work.
  • Goodness... I've been single now for.... hmmm... 6+ years now, at least. And before that, it was just a series of *almost* dating, in each case with me or them backing out after just a few dates. The ones I wanted to date didn't commit, the ones who wanted to date me I didn't feel were the right match. Back then, I felt…
  • One definitely did. I ended up having to host the removed image on my business site storage & link it from there. I've no idea why either, but I did write to find out.
  • Mmmmm.. we had our Thanksgiving today. Ended up making a Lentil/Walnut/Apple/Oat Loaf with an Apple Butter/Ketchup/Balsamic Vinegar Glaze, Stuffing, Mashed Red/Sweet Potatoes w/ Cashew Mushroom Gravy & Green Bean Casserole. Everything came out splendid & I ignored any attempt to refrain from stuffing myself wild... all…
  • I had the same trouble as you with my knees. I ended up getting some vegan supplements, and was careful to listen to my body with each exercise. I limited the jump squats & rockstar jumps in level three (sometimes just did squats in place of them), and for the jumping lunges I just did regular lunges. I also noticed by the…
  • @ Wizbeth: Thanks for the kind words. The photos definitely are deceptive as there is still a lot of fat/loose skin there, but I'm certainly committed to working to fix that. I do think I see a bit of what you mean though, and I'm really glad I took photos so when/if those changes kick in, I'll be able to see the…
  • I did Butt Bible Level 2 today & it was much more intense than level 1, and a bit longer. I loved that I actually felt challenged again, and reminded myself that each time I thought "this is too hard". :p I wasn't able to find ripped in 30 either on YouTube, so perhaps only certain routines are available for free. I…
  • What's your name? Melissa Where do you live? Oregon What are your food vices/ cheats? Processed snacks. They aren't allowed in the house. Sugary & salty treats bring me to my knees. What do you think is holding you back from being in your TOP shape? Myself. I allowed myself to be a total, skinny bum my entire life. Now I…
  • Seriously, right? I thought the bikini was just as baring as the underwear. & as much as I hate it, I really wanted that day 6 before photo in that underwear *because* it showed what I'm hoping to improve on my butt best. It's funny how the day 30 photo in that same style of underwear is ok, but not the before. I guess…
  • How funny, Photobucket removed one, just one, of my progress photos due to TOS violation. Has anyone else had trouble with this? Seems like if one shot violated TOS, the comparison shot should have violated it as well. I'm baffled, as I've seem multiple photos like these on this site, and hadn't thought mine were any…
  • I'm 5ft 5in, & have weight between 108-118 my entire life. Personally, even when I was young & didn't have any muscle tone loss & some fat to replace it, 118 was closer to an ideal weight for me. I've always been told that I was very skinny, and I also don't have much in the bust area, so I'd say someone at 5ft 5in…
  • Weight: 115 Height: 5ft 5in Waist 26.0 Hips 37.5 Calves 13.0 Stomach 29.5 Thigh 21.5 According to the calculator (though I'm not really concerned with these numbers: 22.7% body fat. 26.1 Pounds of fat and 88.9 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water)
  • Just joined this group. According to the calculator I've got: 22.7% body fat. 26.1 Pounds of fat and 88.9 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water) My problem areas are my butt & thighs. I've been thin my entire life but never, ever exercised, and now at 30 I'm left with a droopy, flabby butt to prove it. I'd love to get a…
  • I think you're bound to start seeing results partway into level 2, as it really is the hardest level & will push you more than level 1. Also, most on here seem to have lost in inches more than weight, & it is possible that you are building muscle while losing fat, which could be keeping your weight level. Hang in there.…
  • @ lulaloops: Thanks for that. I keep reminding myself of exactly what you said. I'll be the first to admit that I was a bit disappointed, but in reality, it's probably best as now I still have the motivation of getting my hands on a great after photo. I suppose if it was too easy I might have been inclined to think, "ok,…
  • I finally figured out how to get photos on my blog, but haven't gotten to resizing them to fit well in the forum. Hopefully my blog should be public & you can see, but do let me know if not. Really, there is not much change to be seen, so I'll have to settle for just knowing that my body is surely in better shape because…
  • I'm having trouble deciding what to do next as well. I am definitely going to be looking into more weight/strength training, as I think that's going to yield the best results. Until I get my hands on the weights on want though, I've resumed Butt Bible at Level 2, and whew, did I feel it this time around. I made it just shy…
  • Wow, I feel like I found my twin (except that you have more even weight all around, which I wish I had myself). I adore your figure. <3 I can definitely see some improvement on your side pics though. & it looks like you have the same issue in the stomach, that lower pouch. Do you notice that yours bloats when you eat or…
  • Hey, you are quite close to my own range. I love seeing such a range of people with variety of goals all doing this routine together. I'm sure you've been told it already, but you look great. Even your day 0 photo looks amazing. I'm assuming you've been working out for longer than the 30 day shred you just completed,…
  • No, I hadn't. Is that a sign of concern for anything, or just genetics? Looking at the photos, I can tell you that the lower side is the same side I injured about 11 years ago, and about halfway down my back and off to the side just a smidge is where my back pain has originated from ever since. I also get a lot of tension…
  • Thanks for that. I've actually been watching your threads closely so it's great to have a recommendation from you. I'll definitely be looking into those further. I've actually been quite daunted by weight lifting, but the results you've achieved are wonderful & very close to what I'm looking for. @ Jes: lol. no worries, I…
