  • That is very helpful. I meant to mention that I do not have a gym membership and need home work outs. Maybe in the future if I ever get a membership again then I will look into it. And I did wonder about using my IPAD verses buying hardcover. I have heard good things about Rocktv.com but I need a new laptop, we have been…

  • Its never been my favorite in the past. I don't think its as hard as it should be and I think the moves/flow bores me or doesn't work....something. So now I do level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for 12 and going to make it my goal to stick with level 3 for 8 days. I usually end up moving on to Ripped in 30.

  • Thanks, I will take a look!
  • Stopping in to say hi! Come back often, whenever you need it. This group is really helpful!

  • Laughing at "Garden of eatin' " Love it!
  • A big thank you to you! It really helps that you are so willing to be so helpful and hold everyones hands through this! I think because of this is why its easier to not give up and make it easier to believe that yes, it will work out!
  • This is helpful to hear, too! Now I won't have the Its only me! syndrome.
  • Oh good! I am almost 2 weeks in and was getting worried today because a pair of loose shorts were a little tighter. I keep telling myself to give it more time but I still have that old voice in me telling me to cut back some!
  • Thank you, I needed this reassurance! I have been eating more for almost two weeks now. I put on a pair of shorts today that a few weeks ago were loose and now are tighter. Ugh. Makes me think I am doing something wrong. I think I will be in the group that it will take a little longer to get my body used to the eating…
  • I recently made this without the egg and ice and used a frozen banana and loved it! Its from Fast Paleo website. I am not Paleo but a huge collector of recipes and love trying new things Pumpkin Spice Smoothie 1/3 can of Pumppkin 1 cup almond milk (vanilla, unsweetened) 1-2 tsp cinnamon 1 raw cage free egg 1.5 scoops…
  • I will send a request!
  • Some people are comfortable talking about it, some not. This is a public free site. If you see TOM in the subject line, don't click on it.
  • This is from the Chocolatecoveredkatie blog that I use several times a day! I like using garbanzos but my kids prefer white cannellini bean texture. Its more smooth. I only needed to use 1/2 cup coconut palm sugar and it was still sweet. Brownie Batter Dip Inspired by the famous Cookie Dough Dip. 1 can garbanzo beans,…
  • I hear you on the doctor thing! Especially since most the docs I have/had either are overweight or slightly overweight but you can tell they never get any exercise. I wonder where this 1200 number even came from especially since most nutrition labels are based off a 2,000 cal diet. *insert eye roll smiley here*
  • Hmmm, well theres nothing wrong with a little more *kitten* as long as its in the right place:tongue: Keep going. I read one of those stickys and it was like she was talking to me. I believe it was Kiki who wrote it but she was saying how it could take weeks or months depending on how you treated your body before. I am…
  • Feel free to look through my diary. I am still new to the eat more, its been less than two weeks so I am still working on it. I have been letting myself have things I haven't had and eating oatmeal more. I have even eaten out more then I have in 3 months! But I am down half an inch around my waist and I have eaten…
  • I went a year with only putting almond milk in it. It didn't help me lose any weight. I can drink it that way and its ok.....but that whole time every morning I would want it to be a tad sweeter. Now I use a little coconut palm sugar. Not enough to make it super sweet but enough to where its not bitter and a tablespoon of…
  • Hey sweatpants, I just noticed you aren't too far from me! I think you should add the Bix7 to your list;)
  • Ok, thanks! I do love being busy, I don't even know how not to be. I am so used to it so it just seems so.....normal. I question it because I know the shred isn't very long, but I do use 5-10lb weights and on my walks/runs my almost 3 year old always insists on coming. She is teeny but she gets heavy quick pushing her up…
  • There are times where I have lost scale weight but look the same and wear the same size. There have been times when the scale didn't budge but I dropped sizes in clothes. I have gone back to not using a scale. Well, I will when I can see I have lost just to see where I am. Even though I know I fluctuate and I know the…
  • I absolutely love Twopeasandtheirpod.com's chickpea & avocado sandwich and their edamame and avocado sandwich. SUper healthy and so filling! I don't like chickpeas unless its hummus or disguised in a baked good or whatnot. I rinsed the beans really well and processed them with garlic and the other ingredients and…
  • Its hard to judge since the before pics are a little dark, but I definitely can see a difference in the side view, and on the front view you look more trim. Your belly looks like theres also more definition. I like throwing the shred into my routine every so often in the mornings, its a great wake me up video but I don't…
  • I am just surprised your cut wouldn't be higher. I know I weigh more and I am a tad taller, but at 165 and 5'8 my cut is 2345. I walk/run 6 days a week (just getting back into running) then do a strength training video for 20-30 min 7 days a week. The classes you teach are burning far more calories than my workouts. 2345…
  • Some of our favorites yet super easy: all bake at 350: *Smear on some red curry paste *pour some salsa on top and sprinkle some cheese *Smear on some pesto, roll chicken around some mozzarella, I have even used half a stick of string cheese. I always pound my chicken thin
  • I am right there with you! I just squeezed into a pair of jeans that were loose over a week ago. I wanted to cry! I keep telling myself I didn't eat 3500 cals and not work out but its still pretty hard!!
  • I agree Lucia! Really, the scale weight isn't my goal. Its more of a size/look I want. I am judging my "goal weight" on where I was at my happiest (with my body) and to use for the calculators, but really if the scale never says that number but I fit back in those clothes and look fit, then that will be my happiest, body…
  • Thanks again. It just seems like a too good to be true type of thing. What? I can eat, feel satisfied, actually not turn down another lunch/dinner/night out with friends and still lose weight!? I can take my daughters out for ice cream and have some with them? Normally i just sit there and watch them eat, planning on…
  • Honestly, I don't imagine 10 years from now, any of todays 3 yr olds will be looking at old copies of Time and recognizing their classmate. Maybe if this kid grows up to be a Presidential candidate or celebrity somebody might dig this up but in 30-40 years will anyone really care?
  • This is what you people find disgusting?? Seriously people have nothing else to B**** about except whether they have the right to tell a Mother when she has to stop breastfeeding? You don't want to breastfeed a 3 yr old? Fine don't do it. I worry about things like parents who don't feed their children and abuse them. I am…
  • Thanks for the encouragement! I use 5 and 10lb weights. There are just a few moves I can only use the 10lb weights for the first round. I have always had weak shoulders. After the shred I will do Ripped in 30, then probably onto kettlebells. This is my normal routine. I have tried P90x but I didn't really see a huge…
