are you sure it's the taste buds and not the olfactory connection? Can you smell your food still?

Just from your one picture - you don't look like you have a lot to lose. So 18 lbs is probably pretty noticeable on you.

I started with Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds DVDs. I made it a goal to go a little longer or a little faster or whatever each workout til I eventually was doing the 3 mile walk with ease. I moved outside when the weather improved and added a minute or two each walk, or extra distance. It was very effective to get…

Every time I go to Wendy's I gank a bunch of straws - they are *the best* for drinking water since they are so wide. I fill up a 30 oz cup, pop in my straw, and suck.it.down. No need to add anything to it (I hate lemon).

meh, amateur porn. Not as good as some I've seen.

Castor oil helps clear ya out. Heh. Don't buy into the hype and BS. We'd all be skinny if we could just drink our fat away.

Where do I send the money? ;)

I did that program already a year and a half ago. I prefer compound movement-based training using a barbell. :D

I did the Whole30 challenge...(no sugar and other stuffs for 30 days). The first day off was Easter and well, my sugar monster is not dead yet. Dammit. I am not craving the same kinds of sugars I was before (sour candy) but I want ALLLLL your chocolate right now. :P Good luck!

I was 220 when I started and everything hurt. I cried sometimes when I had to walk upstairs because my knees were in so much pain. I started off with walking.....indoors. I did Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile DVD and gradually increased the time and distance I did it. Eventually as the weather got nicer I…

You said it yourself - water. Yes you can retain water from an injury - how do you think the body repairs itself? How much sodium have you been eating lately? Are you drinking enough water? Could be any number of things. Do yourself a favor and avoid the scale for awhile...don't let it set the tone for your day.

Neither, her voice drives me crazy and I hear of people injuring themselves all too often trying to keep up with her moves. How about Chalean Extreme if you want a DVD based workout - with cardio and strength? ;)

I take a teaspoon or two of Stevia. You can get it in liquid or powder form. It's all natural but zero calories. I tried to do the black coffee thing and it just never happened for me. blech.

People working hard - that's sexy - shows they care about their bodies. The people sitting back and watching - not sexy - lame.

I use it on occasion because I get sick of eating chicken and eggs, to be frank. I use Trutein by TruNutrition Sciences. I mix with water and crushed ice and it's supah nommy!

Muscle is beautiful. And this horse has been beaten to death.

The highly targeted reporting and mod nazis shutting people down when others are doing the same thing elsewhere but never get in trouble.

A "cheat" day would typically be maintenance (2200-2400) to about 500 cals more for me. I don't want to throw out all of the week's hard work...but 500 extra cals isn't gonna hurt me too badly once a week if it keeps me sane and committed to eating well all week.

Yup! Are you on meds to help with the depression? Every year in January-March I go through a slump. It's usually related to SAD and the gloomy weather. I know to go to my doctor and get on a low dose of anti-depressants to help get through. Also taking Vitamin D and B12 daily helps significantly. You're going to have to…

When you are eating sugar, I believe the body doesn't really know the difference between a good sugar versus a bad sugar. It is going to respond in kind to any sugar. Period. The difference is you are getting nutrients when you eat "good" sugars (i.e. fruit) whereas you are getting a bunch of wasted calories with "bad"…

I made a decision I was FED UP with how I looked and felt and knew that if I wanted to change, I was going to have to change hardcore because my previous methods hadn't helped me any. All the diets and weight loss supplements did nothing. It had to be about me and my self-control. And I took it one day at a time. I pre-log…

You said it yourself. If there was a pill that worked - don't you think we'd all be on it and the nation's obesity rates would be drastically lowered?
-
QFT. Try to log it all - it'll make sense then when you don't see a loss the further along you get and when you get upset, come in the forums, and ask why you aren't losing. Seen this happen all too often.

Not gonna repeat what everyone already said here...some good stuff....but you have a middle finger for a reason and if people are yelling crap at you, I urge you to use the universal symbol to tell them how you really feel....and keep on running!
-
The question is how do YOU feel? Are you happy with how you look (not including any skin issues)? You can change your body composition by incorporating some heavy lifting and work on adding some muscle now. :)
-
How about just take a caffeine pill? One 200mg pill should do the trick to start.

Sounds like you are in the habit of feeding your body something sweet after your meals. The only way to break this is to ..... stop doing it. Break the habit. Nothing sweet after meals. Suck it up and deal with it. How bad do you want to break the habit?

Your attitude can ruin your workout. IF you have an attitude that you're gonna kick butt regardless, then you will. If you think it, you can do it...if you don't think you can, you won't.

I will eat whatever I want ... and suffer the consequences after. Gotta live my life...and that includes upholding family traditions on special days. BRING ON ALL THE FOOOOODZ!
