  • Don't make this harder than it needs to be. First, you should figure out your Protein, in most cases people here are trying to lose fat and gain muscle. 1 gr of Protein per lb of ideal body weight. Set fat to 25%, and Carbs get the remaining calories.

I like encouraging others with a simple as a like or a short compliment. If you drop off the radar I might send you a little note asking if you’re ok. I am 60 years old and…

  • So I am back focused again. It’s strange how I allowed myself to drift away. Consistency is a big challenge. I start well and have the correct motivation for a while and then I loose focus. It’s tough because my wife isn’t completely committed to a life change. I guess I need to focus on doing this for me and not anyone…

  • You can buy the product at a discount using another member if you want. If you want to become a supplier cost is minimal. I get no pressure to have others join so I don’t consider it a true MLM.
  • I’m interested in finding other MFP members who have or are using it. I finally hit the goal for last three days of drinking half my body weight in ounces of water.

  • You have to begin to think of your body as an ecosystem. In my 170 lbs loss so far, I've run into plateaus or set points. They suck. Your body is constantly trying to maintain an equilibrium. Plateaus can happen for a number of reasons, some are not because you are doing anything wrong, your body might be resting. You…
  • It's not unusual to hit a plateau or set point. Don't get frustrated if you don't see scale changes. Good time to take inventory. Are your clothes feeling loose? How's the nutritional quality of the food you are eating? Are you hitting your Macros? You might want to change up workout routine. How your digestive health? Do…

  • Feel your pain. Put in an hour inside today. Think I’m going to a smart trainer. Wahoo, Cycle Ops, and Kenetic are a few that let me integrate my road bike into a indoor trainer. Padded short help. Cream on chamois helps, getting out of saddle helps. Another 100 lbs loss will me. Could ride 5 minutes 145 lbs ago.
