Bit off more than I could chew last month, so I'm going to challenge myself to 60 miles for October.

I lost my dang pedometer for a week and a half, so I lost track of this challenge month. But, after all, October is another month. :)

I'm in California. My wife and I have been together for 14 years and got married in that brief window we had in 2008. When Prop 8 passed, we were scared we'd be divorced by the state. Luckily, we ended up being one of the limited-edition marriages which helped throw a wrench in the Prop 8 people's soup. So we are very…

Just finished Bleach. *sniff* And just starting Sword Art Online! First episode and I'm digging it. And in the very first episode they gave the yaoi girls enough juice to start the flailing. LOL! Nicely done!

Today I am totally geeking out on the fact that my local nerd group is trying to find a restaurant that is big enough to hold our group. How cool is that?

I'm going to go ahead and join for the last bit of August. I'll be attempting to walk 18 miles by the end of the month.

Thanks, everyone! I really appreciate the information! You've all really helped me start sorting it all out. :drinker:

I love it! Being in a house is like a team sport, so even when you're just not feeling a challenge, you suck it up and do it for your house. The challenges are always challenging, but not impossible. And I just love the way they set the whole thing up. Tomorrow starts a Quidditch match between Slytherin and Hufflepuff and…

@siratlas, which house are you joining? I'm in Slytherin! The wife and I have been geeking on the anime Bleach for a long time now, but we've been marathoning episodes every night after the kids are in bed for the last month or so. (So glad they made it to Hulu!) Hopefully soon we'll be all up in Doctor Who again, shortly.…
