bahahahahahah i gotta quest bar ad on the side of my screen right now. I use a brand called "life choice"- i've only seen them at walmart. 21 g for 210 calories-ish in the peanut butter kind. My mom was all "blech" but for a protein bar, they taste pretty good and aren't super carb-y.

Underwear is stupid. All the time. And, In, for the eventual butthurt and name calling. This isn't most first rodeo. I saw how the last no underwear post went.

Freaking AWESOME!!!!

Tagging for about 30 friends who know way more about beer than I ever will. I'm pretty sure that arrogant *kitten* is dark. but your palate may not appreciate it. I hear it's um....kinda serious.
-
The latter. Especially if you have high LBM.

Haven't you seen the "exercise" version of the magnetic poetry kit? Many successful MFPers use their fat and protein goals as guidelines and minimums. I suggest you follow suit. It will help with your sanity.

maybe breakfast. I like a light breakfast.

There's a difference between disliking a business model and ad campaign and making sweeping statements about the people who choose to train there. I think PF is off base with their marketing strategy. I'm offended by it and wouldn't give them my money. (but I also wouldn't give another gym my money either and choose to…

You could be off for a week letting it heal...or a few months because you tried to push it. Don't run the 4 miles tonight. Realize that you may not be well enough to run your 9.3 this weekend.

Maybe this is actually what's going on with barbie.

This is fantastic! Sounds like you've got a true friend, too!

Someone already said deadlifts and squats, right? I mean, warm up sets.
-
You're awesome. Pics or not. But I'm not gonna lie....I'm tagging for pics.

I pout and tantrum for about 30 seconds then I get back to business. The pity party thing doesn't help anything, so I try to avoid it. The easiest way to be consistent is to find activities that you actually enjoy doing. That way, you have impetus besides "oh, this will help me lose weight". Try not to let one off day turn…

Most successful lifting women I know shoot for 1 gm per LBM. I mean, you might be fine without that much. But I think your reaction is over the top.
-
I would never allow someone else's perceptions or statements stand in the way of my goals. I suggest you not, either. Be confident in your self image and self assessment. Take what others say with a grain of salt and a side of reason.
-
You look fantastic. Thanks for putting this out there so other women can see that their fears about lifting aren't warranted.
-
You look years younger. Congrats on setting goals and continuing to reach them!

The studio I've been going to has "community" mats. I bring my own. Often, the instructor will ask so and so if she can "use their mat". I dread the day she asks me. Maybe she will never, since I bring my own. (But she asked someone else who brings their own a few weeks ago so...idk). ACK! Keep yo' feet offa my mat.

:drinker: Patience and perseverance are really the means to the end here.

Methinks I have the answer to why you're dizzy and feel weak.
