I have a health-o-meter, bought it at Kohls. It is a digital one, and it ALWAYS gives me the same weight if I re-step on it.

Cholesterol should be kept at or below 300 mg/day, or under 200 mg/day for those with dyslipidemia (high cholesterol) Sugar- can vary per person. Just remember that sugar is carb, so just keep your total carb in…

So, your HR Monitor has set you to exercise at 60-80% of your max heart rate. This is reasonable. As you exercise more, your stroke volume per beat will increase, which will then cause your HR to decrease. When you are exercising at 158-160, you are at about 90% of your max heart rate. My best advice for you is to really…

Awwwe, Thanks! Congrats on your 21, too!!!

The standard formula for max heart rate is 220 - your age (in years). If you exercise at a higher rate then this, your risk of defribrillation, etc, increases rapidly. What HR are you exercising at?

As soon as you feel how bad your thighs hurt the next day, you won't even have to ask if it burns calories! Are you doing english or western? I personally feel that english works the legs more (with all the posting and whatnot) But, western has its positives too!

Thanks for all the wonderful ideas thus far! Well, for decorations, I bought a bunch of swags from Michaels last year on their after christmas sale. I decorated them with red berries and pine cones. For candle holders, my idea is to cut some birch logs in half, drill holes for candles, and decorate somehow. I have seen…

I believe that we will have to have a car (future hubby will have to drive to work) I guess I really don't have any weather issues. I do think it would be depressing to have rain really frequently thought. But, of course, I wouldnt want to live in the desert either. For being only 22, I am somewhat of an old maid  .…
