I'm excited about them for sure. Our building remodel started about a week ago, and we will all be working out of some of our other sites in March, but come April, I will definitely be booking time on the treadmills each day just to see if I like it or not.

Our company just announced that we are getting them with our remodel! We will be able to schedule work time on the treadmill desks! I currently have a standing desk and love it, but was super excited for this announcement.

I eat 1500 cals a day and have set my protein goal to 115g. I am vegan and don't have any issue getting to this. Only about 10g/day comes from powder, as I put half a scoop in my oatmeal. I eat a lot of beans, lentils, TVP, quinoa, Ripple "milk" (pea milk), chickpeas, chia seeds, and the occasional protein bar.

I mean....I have used a gadget (food scale), and have lessened the effects of my chronic illnesses through MFP. I've lost 46 pounds so far (personal testimonial)....There's science to CICO, but I definitely don't think I would have been as effective without a gadget!

I'm 32, and have been vegan since I was about ten years old...so a very good portion of my life. To be fair, it's probably easier for me because I have severe egg, dairy and shellfish allergies, so really the only thing I don't eat is meat, lol. Read labels. You don't have to "cut out" packaged food if you don't want to,…

Mustard. On everything. Rice, pasta, oreos, oranges....everything!

I knew a guy way back in college who had one like that...but he wasn't measuring food... :D :D :D

@janejellyroll beat me to it, lol.

Is there a warning on your brand of protein powder that says something like, "not suitable for people under the age of XX"? If not, and if it's purely protein, no additives, then there shouldn't be a problem...

Hmmm...."white collar" industry worker here...and you won't find a single person in my office without a visible tattoo, piercing or alternative hair cut/color. We must be in different "necks" of the woods...

Just hand over all the vegan cupcakes to me and nobody gets hurt...

I used a PF for a little bit, and although they have dumbells, I discovered that all of the PF's around me didn't have anything higher than 50 pounds...so if you want to do any of these moves with more than 100 combined lbs, you might be out of luck. I'm not certain what weights you're lifting at this moment, but these…

I do! It's fantastic, especially in the winter here, as I don't have to bundle up my toddler and hurry her into the store from a cold parking lot, possibly throwing fits and the whole 9 yards! It has also helped us save a significant amount of money. We plan our meals, order only what we need that we don't already have in…

Goodwill and pawn shops are GREAT! I got a brand new heavy bag for boxing at a pawn shop for $10. Like, it still had the original tags and packaging. I was ready to spend a good chunk of cash on one, and ended up at this place with a friend who was selling some stuff. From then on, I always check those places out first!

I ordered a SUPER CUTE kettlebell online and it cost way more than one should. It arrived and it turns out it was only.....7 whopping pounds, lol. Yeah, I got so excited about aesthetics that I didn't even look at the weight of it before purchasing. Now...it's an overpriced doorstop.

http://www.ellentv.com/recipes/2010/11/19/turkey-roast/ I've made the above recipe for a homemade seitan roast for probably 5-6 years now, and it's fantastic. Even the meat-eaters enjoy it. As far as side dishes go, I just make traditional sides with vegan ingredients (Earth Balance in lieu of butter, ener-g in lieu of…

I've always done steel cut oats in the microwave at my desk at work. I recently discovered myoatmeal.com and I think this is going to be my go-to from now on! I skeptically tried it - I got a pretty decent coupon in my email...and created an oatmeal that is not only delicious, but has a decent amount of protein in it that…

I feel you. I've had some inflammation in my intestines (thanks, Lupus) for the past two weeks and have dropped 8 pounds...and not 8 pounds that I wanted to lose in this way because I know it's not good. I've been trying to stick to the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast), but even those foods are causing me…

A couple of years ago, I had about four co-workers who did this. All lost a massive amount of weight. Currently, they're all larger than they were before they did it. It is a crash diet - VLC and not something you can maintain.

They're not the one dating them, so who cares?

I put them on my keychain. Forgot to take them off once and felt like I was going to rip my finger off doing a deadlift. i have a keychain with multiple rings on it for each key and have an extra ring that I keep empty for my bands when I exercise.…

Your doctor should provide you with a regimen to slowly ease into exercise. If not, get a referral to a physical therapist that can help. Post-op recovery should definitely be something discussed with a medical professional.

I'm vegan, so take this with a grain of salt...but can't you fit meat and potatoes into your calorie goal/macros? What are you looking for exactly?

Tension headaches cannot even compare to what is felt in a O.N. flareup, which is what the OP states she was diagnosed with. That is apples to oranges. Whole 30 actually utilizes a lot of foods known to trigger inflammation (nightshades, etc.) and since O.N. flareups are often triggered by blood vessel inflammation, this…

Just as important as your health is to you, so should be your childs/childrens' health. If you are aknowledging that their snacks are unhealthy (that's how you worded it), why are they getting it in the first place? We are on a tight budget. We all eat the same things - toddler included. If I wouldn't eat it myself, I'm…
