I am 25 and 227 pounds. I can see the writing on the wall and it isn't pretty so I want to get healthy now so I don't have to pay for it later.

Send it in!!! I just did my first 5K yesterday and I was able to finish it without a lot of training. You are doing C25K and you have plenty of time to get ready for the race. don't even think of it as being a race just do it to do it! Have fun and let us know how it goes.

I've been looking into getting the Rhythm made by Scosche. You wear it on your forearm so you wouldn't have to worry about it being to uncomfortable with your bra. It's a little pricy at $100 but I am saving up for it.

I take classes at my gym and I love them. My instructor is really great and I have a lot of fun! I also have a Zumba game for the Wii that I tried before taking classes and never picked up again but now that I am doing really good in class I may try it again.

I started going to the gym back in January. It's really hard sometimes I have to admit. Signed up last week, no joke! I knew I could walk 5K if i'm going 2.5-3 mph on a treadmill, it was a whole different ball game but I did it!
