You look great, and love the snazzy shoes.

Not me at my highest (280lbs) but probably around 170lbs. Taken today, weighing about 178lbs and have about 50lbs more to lose.

This is me about 6 years ago, weighing in at a hefty 270ish (not my highest which was 280lbs). This was me yesterday at 178lbs (down 102lbs) and I have about 50lbs more to reach my goal weight.

I'll bump you for a mile!

I think it's perfect but then I am biased because that is where I have set my own goals for the same height. You can always adjust your goals as you lose, I'm new to MFP but I've yet to hear about any Goal Police Squad. haha

Leslie Sansone has a really good walking at home dvd program and they are pretty cheap. I think they are called Walk Away the Pounds and better yet she does not have a grating voice or a drill sargent personality. Check her out.

I lost my first 80 pounds with nutritional changes/portion control and walking (brisk pace for 45 minutes) at least 5 days a week. Like others have mentioned it really is about the pace.

Look at you striking that pose in the second pictures, and to quote Ms. Banks, "Fierce."

I work in the school system (elementary) and while we do not screen for weight, we do really promote healthy eating/nutrition (free fruit program for snacks etc. ) and the kids are asked to track their activity levels (number of minutes and what kind of activity) and parents sign off in their agendas each week. As for the…

I am still a work in progress, but here is my transformation thus far (I am 5'5"): 280lbs 250lbs 210lbs 195lbs (ahhhh, to be in onederland) 179lbs (infamous pants party - 100lbs)

I would love and invite to, hopefully this will motivaate me to stay on track and end the year on a high note.

I am 35 years old and my goal weigt is around 130 pounds. I started out at 280 pounds and currently weight 180 pounds. I don't count calories but maintain a pretty clean vegetarian diet. Currently, I do around 45 minutes of high intensity cardio (running) 5 days a week and am just starting to weight train 2 times a week.

Another vote for Adams Nautral Crunchy in our house. A little bit expensive but I stock up when it is on sale.

Wowza, I just went through this entire thread and you ladies look amazing. I find it fascinating how diffeent each one of us carries our weight and how different the same weight looks on the same height. Congratulations on everyone's successes.
-
You look fabulous and we are similar height (I'm 5'5") and starting weight (I was 280ish) and currently weigh 180. Looking at your pictures gives me an idea of where my progression is going and gives some additional motivation to keep moving.

bumping for later

Nah, I wouldn't notice because I'm too busy staring at the lady's thong infront of me, and wondering if she purposely always matches it to her workout outfit. I'm also intrigued by how high it seems to come up, I mean I don't wear a thong because I would need search and rescue to come and help me dig it out but hers seems…

I used to love jumping rope when I was a kid and now I work in an Elementary School and cannot help but jumping in when I see this kids on the playground. But oy-vay my boobs do not like it at all. The other day I was showing some of the kids double dutch and it deffinitely upped my playground cred but the "girls" were…

A little twist on the usual scrambled eggs (and of course you can subsititute egg whites but I am a yolker all the way (bashfully admits to even getting double yolk eggs on occasion from the farm stand down the road). 4 large eggs 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin Pinch of turmeric Kosher salt 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 small…

Great work and isn't it amazing how different 50lbs looks.
-
You look hot and I love that "you know you want this" attitude in your last few pictures.
-
I love looking at your pictures because I have a similar amount of weight to lose. You look amazing!
-
The two of you look so amazing. Fellow canadians might appreicate this reference, but for some reason all I could think of when I looked at your after pictures were Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod from the Canadian Participation Service Announcements. You're both so fit and photogenic, you could be the next Hal and Joanne.

You look great and I cannot believe how different your face looks, great job.

I cannot think of a better reason. What a beautiful family picture.

It's funny even though I run by myself, I see the same people out most mornings and there is always a slight nod but the other morning these guys (who are serious runners and in great shape) slowed down and gave me the biggest high-fives and the one called me the incredible shrinking woman. I think I blushed 50 shades of…

I was just going through my pictures and I actually found a before where I am wearing the same glasses in both pictures. First picture I weight about 280lbs and the second one I am 100lbs less, weighing 180lbs.

I have just started running over the past few months, well run/walking but lately I have really been increasing my actually running portion of my daily 5.3km (I know a wierd distance but it's my route that follows the water and the forest trails with some steep hills thrown in for good measure). I've completed one 8km on…

This is a topic I am constantly struggling with as I am really chesty and without the proper bra I think the girls would hit the ground before my feet do and then rickashay up and hit my chin. I am currently wearing a Lunaire and it seems to be doing the job. And for reference I am a 36H. I also have a panache in my closet…

Wowza, just imagine that cartoon character with the eyes that pop out of their head, that's what I am doing right now.
