I agree with this and nixing the keytone junk. It's nothing but a fad that isn't doing anything for you. If you are doing a lot of cardio and not eating very much being a male your losses don't sound really far fetched but it's not something that you should continue. You said you gained the weight back that you had lost…

I agree. Doing some squats and pushups takes no time at all. If you really want to preserve your muscle mass 5-10min a day is nothing that can't be done. Saying you have no time because you're thinking gym routine or long workout is just an excuse not to exercise at all.

Because "diets" and pills don't work in the long run because they don't teach you serving sizes and how to eat healthy. By counting calories you have to consciously look at your food and learn what serving sizes look like and how to get the most food within your calorie range and isn't restrictive. Counting calories gives…

Interesting. Are you a certified fitness trainer? All the information I just gave is from a certified trainer who followed that information and turned his body into something all of you would be envious of. Timing does matter. You can't eat once a day or even twice a day and expect to keep up your energy and metabolism in…

Wow! The amount of bad advice on these forums is staggering! 1. It is not ok to only be eating once or twice a day as a regular practice unless you want to put your metabolism into the crapper. You need to fuel your body at regular intervals to keep up your metabolism and keep your energy up. 900 calories a day is not ok.…

What is your diet like? Are you eating at a deficit? If you are skinny fat then you don't need to be eating at a deficit. Deficit is for losing weight not for changing your body composition. You need to have a high protein diet with lower carbs. Less cardio too. Cardio is not going to help you get rid of the fat; you need…

Find upper body and core exercises, low impact yoga or pilates where you aren't kneeling or doing exercises that put pressure on your knee. There are plenty of things to do other then legs.

Is your calorie goal incorporating your activity for the week? If it is then you can 1 or 2 things. You can not log your exercise, or you can log your exercise, if you are the type that wants to see that in your log, and then change the burn to 1 calorie so it doesn't mess with your calorie count. If your calorie goal…

You should have something in the evening because otherwise your body is going too long without any food. You need to fuel it at regular intervals otherwise your metabolism will take a nose dive. ***This is coming from my certified personal trainer and nutritionist.

Good call. I wasn't even going to look at her photos. To OP--You are extremely thin. You definitely do not need to be losing any additional weight!! If you are looking for a more chisled looking physique then you actually need to increase your calories, eat a lower carb, higher protein, healthy lifestyle and you need to…

This. I can totally understand how you're feeling. Anyone that is saying just eat within your calorie range and don't worry about it is so wrong and doesn't understand how their body works. All the processed/boxed junk is so bad for us and doesn't contribute anything to our bodies. Losing weight and eating more…

YEP!

What are you eating? You can't have a workout and then eat a salad and expect to be full. You need to be eating protein. You say it's a morning workout? Then you should be having a good hearty breakfast........an egg sandwich with meat and cheese, just the eggs and meat and cheese, real oatmeal(not instant) with peanut…

I'm 5'3" and I can't imagine being 110. I hit 125 once in high school and I was small. Right now you are at a perfectly normal, healthy weight. I think you are focusing too much on a # when you should be focusing on how your body looks. What are you doing for activity? Without any knowledge of what you are doing, I'm only…

Wow, these are some great suggestions. Thanks everyone!

This. And stop buying juice. If you're trying to be healthier then teach your children to be healthier too. Drink water and make the sugar loaded/carb loaded drinks a treat once in a great while.
It's a tv show. It's not real. It's for entertainment and to sell products. Everything about reality tv is staged and scripted.
Seriously? You think that these people starving is scripted? Yes, many reality shows are but this show is not. What you see is what is happening. To OPthe reason they lose weight…

Well first off 5lb weights aren't going to cut it..........well maybe for some of your beginning bicep curls but generally no. You are going to want to get real dumbells where you can add and subtract weight. There are also weighted barbells which are good for some things but again a real barbell with the seperate weights…

Well lets see........lets do some math here........you say you could be burning up to 1800 calories from working out(which I think is on the high side) so lets use the numer of 1200. You say your eat 1200-1800 calories a day.........Does that add up to you? Is this number before or after exercise because if it's before…

I just got one last month at a Hanes outlet store. It's a racerback and holds the girls nicely.

Take a picture of her plate # or video tape her driving. Make it obvious that you are stopped and waiting for her and then see if just that action makes a difference in upcoming days and if not then contact the police about her unsafe driving. You can't run in her lane otherwise you'd be at fault if something happened. I…

Sorry but you are incorrect. That seems to be a big concensus here on MFP, but until you do your own research or are working with a certified trainer you wouldn't know any different. I didn't until I got a trainer. When you eat carbs if you aren't using them right away with activity they will be stored as fat. Your body…

You don't want to go too far below your calorie goal because it is already incorporating a deficit. If you don't eat back at least some of your exercise calories you will be at an even larger deficit which would be robbing your body of needed fuel. Occasionally being under goal is fine but not on a daily basis. And if you…

I'm confused. You say you're a fitness professional? You are supposed to know this stuff right? Why are you asking random, untrained, strangers on message boards for opinions? If I found out my trainer was doing this I'd be really concerned and would drop him in a second.

I don't understand why you are adding coconut oil to it. All that is doing is adding needless fat and calories to an otherwise good breakfast. And 2t? That's a lot for 1/2c of oatmeal. Where's your protein? If you're needing some fat for your macros I would take out the oil and add peanut butter or almond butter so you get…

Seriously? This is the most ridiculous, uneducated comment I've read in a long time. So you are saying that if someone has eaten 1200 calories and then exercises and burns off 300 that's ok? They are still at 1200calories for the day? Wrong.....that means they have only fueled their body with 900calories for the day and…

Good for you for taking the first step. Good luck on your journey. Add me if you want someone to tell it like it is.

Same. my goal is 25% of my calories so about 105g. I'm not strict about it though so if a have a couple days closer to 150, it is what it is and don't worry about. It all evens out in the end.

Yes, accurate measuring is a must. What you think is usually not true. You have to measure and weigh things so you can begin learning what the amounts look like. I've been doing this for 2yrs and I still measure and weigh things.

I haven't given up anything. There's no need to completely strip any food out of ones diet. There are things that I eat very, very seldom now but I'm not going to ban them from my life. That only makes you want them even more and is one thing that makes people cave and binge. I don't keep ice cream in the house anymore…
