That's what I was just looking for too. I need some new ideas other then topped with a few bread crumbs and baked or crock pot with cream of chicken soup.

I don't know why I'm even responding because first off your attitude sucks and if all you want to do is have a pity party then yes you will be fat forever. But, here is goes.....second, stop with "diets". If you want to lose weight you have to change your eating lifestyle. Third, slashing calories will not work in the long…

If you aren't eating back your calories after working out then you aren't eating enough. 1200 in a bare/starvation mininum you should be eating after you add back in your exercise calories.

You seem to have the right attitude to succeed. You will lose more this first month. A loss is a loss which is going in the right direction so definately remember that. Too many freak out when they don't lose unrealistic loses and then they quit. You will have more success by making small changes gradually instead of…

I use regular rice. Jasmine is my favorite also. I have brown rice but don't use it very often. I just forget about it but making it with some chicken stock in the water adds some better flavor or you could also do a combo of regular and brown. Anything not processed is going to be better for you.

You need to eat your calorie goal. If you've calculated your calories on MFP it already has a deficit so you will lose weight. Your body needs fuel in order to function properly. Yes, you will lose weight but it will be muscle. You need calories to build your body. If all you are concerned with is losing the weight then…

It can be hard not to concentrate on weight but try to get it out of your head that the only way to base your success is on the scale. It is far from the best way to look at your success. What do you look like in the mirror? How do you feel? Those are huge successes and the real way to see progress. If you haven't, take…

Saved for later.

Yes. And another good book to get you started is The New Rules of Lifting for Women(Lift like a man, look like a goddess). That's how I got into lifting and it's been great.

I did and started the training. By phase 4 I got bored with the repeating of exercises especially since there are some that I absolutely hate. I think it's a great resource and a great way for someone that doesn't have any lfiting experience to get started. As someone else said there is a group on here but I find that the…

Are you eating back your exercise calories because if you aren't then you aren't eating enough hence the reason your hungry.

I agree.

I my opinion any "regular", "normal", "typical" house work that you do doesn't really count as a true work out activity. If someone doesn't do much cleaning normally and then has a day of activity where they dust, vaccuum, do lots of moving then I would count that as activity.....maybe only light activity but still…

Don't feel guilty. Yes, you need breaks. You have to think about this in another way. Do you see yourself being able to keep up this type of pace for the rest of your life? Are you only doing this to lose the weight now or do you want to make a sustainable life change that you will be able to continue with? I see so many…

The beginning is where you begin. You just have to do it. No one starts out squating 100lbs. Start the program and test your strength. Start out low, if by the end of the listed reps you aren't exerting yourself then at a few more lbs next time. That's all there is to it. Your ideal weight is the amount that makes you work…

That's exactly it. Just go with it. Any of the programs are good. One is not the end all be all over any of the others. You choose NROL4W so start it and put your focus into it. It's only a book so if down the road you decide you want to try something else then you can change your mind. You have the gym which is a good…

Of course you count the bar.

I'll just reiterate some of the previous postings. Some cardio as a warm up is good. I typically don't do more then 10min but I also don't have a ton of time. Some machines are good but I would move more towards the free weights and full body exercises. Also lift as heavy as you can. You're last couple reps should be to…

OMG! Yes!! I have a friend that says that to me and it really irritates me because I'm not any thinner now then when I first met her. Thinner then I've been for many years yes, skinny, absolutely not even close. To OP, take the comments as fabulous compliments that all your hard work is paying off. As we get thinner we…

Ummm....yes.

All I've ever done with cranberries is make sauce. Toss a bunch into a sauce pan and add some sugar and a touch of water and let them cook down till they've begun to pop open. I some times add some vanilla and orange zest too for a little added flavor. Makes for a nice side with a sandwich at lunch.

OMG!! DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS PERSON!! To be working out this much and not even eat 1000 calories a day is dangerous and unhealthy!! To OP. You need to determine what your TDEE is and what your activity level is in order to determine what is a healthy calorie goal is for you. I use…

I understand you are you are young but to say you hate yourself is not productive and acutally a very destructive mentality to have. There is nothing to hate about the way you look. No one is perfect and the sooner you realize that the better your journey will be. Everyone has different body types and we all store fat in…

8 glasses of just water is not required. Your body needs hydration and you get that hydration by drinking water, tea, coffee, juices and by eating fruits and veggies. Your soup for lunch will give you the hydration your body needs. Don't worry or kill yourself over this myth of needing 8 glasses of WATER. I average only…

Well first off I give you credit in acknowledging your ED and trying to work on it. Second, what does your doctor say? I do agree you should be eating more consistantly through out the day. You should be working with a doctor to workout an appropriate meal plan that incorporates proteins/fats and carbs at an appropriate…

This absolutely and unequivocally! :)

I like that....it's all perspective. @ OPosting....I agree. I do believe that exercise is important but it isn't the most important thing if you want to lose weight. I see so many of my friends on here constantly posting about all the workouts they are doing and how worn out they are between that and their life obligations…

Losing weight is not a fast journey if you want it to last. You say you already are tired after a morning workout and are tired when you get home before even doing a workout so why do you think you'll be able to do 2 workouts in 1 day? If you have the type of stamina to do 2 workouts then go for it, but I think you'll find…

I'm in.

No. Because if you are using MFP's standard calculations they are actually low on protein. Unless someone has some specific health issues there really isn't any problem with lots of protein.
