• Oops, made a mistake! I set my challenge at 75 km, when I meant to say 75 miles, big difference!! Happy to say I have my first 3.5 miles locked in for today. Good luck, everyone!!
• I'm in for the challenge - I want to be able to reach my goal, and I lose my motivation so easily! When I'm on the treadmill I typically do 3 - 4 km. I don't get on as often as I should however, so I am setting my goal for app. 2.5 k a day, for a min total of 75 k for the month. Wish me luck, as I do for all of you!! :)
• I like this breakfast, too. (poached eggs on english muffin for me). To save a few calories, cut the yolk out. You also don't get all the cholesteral - a healthier way to eat.
• I agree on the Quaker oats. Put a little skim milk, cinnamon, and sugar twin brown sugar on it. Very few extra calories. It is a clean carb, and lots of protein. Definitely helps me make it through my morning. Good luck!
• Good for you! The nerve of some people!
• OMG you certainly did do it, and with great dedication! and perserverance. Your story is tremendous, and so are you. Thank you so much for sharing! I wish you all the best, you are doing a fantastic job, and deserve a brand new lease on life!
• I'm 5'6, and 46 years old. Ideally, I would like to be 130 pounds. At this weight, Iwould most likel.y have a 24 inch waist., 36 around the bust, and 35 around the hips. That's where I have been in the past, and where I feel comfortable. I carry my weight more heavily, and people are always surprised with what my true…
• Where do generals keep their armies? In their sleevies... bad da dum!
• You go, girl. I think you will be very happy with the support you will find behind many of the MFP friends, not to mention the knowledge you will gain along the way. Best wishes on this journey in life. I am confident you will do very well! Feel free to friend me, if you'd like.
• I love this outlook. I am definitely a turtle, and truly think it is the best way to be. I am in, and thanks for the inspiration!
• Reality check - I'm in. Will fine tune my plan and check in regularly Thanks!
• A decent protein - if you can eat it in moderation, in combination with great workouts, it could actually be of benefit to your body. My husband and I have peanut butter every day - Kraft light - little less in the fats and sodium. Be careful though, too much of a good thing is not so good for you.
• I am in for March challenge. I did great for the first 3 weeks in February, but really lost it in the last week. My goal was for 75 miles, but I ended up with 57.5 miles for a total. I am going to keep the same goal of 75 miles for March. With the longer month, and hopefully a more motivated me, I can achieve it this…
• Hi, I use the bowling exercise frequently as a calorie burner, but not as it reads from the database. I figure each I am burning calories for about 1 minute per frame when I bowl. Since there are 10 frames, I consider one game of bowling to be 10 minutes of calories burned. I am in a bowling league, and we are collectively…
• Hi, I'm in for February. This looks like an awesome challenge, and many of you have done fantastic work on the previous ones. Congratulations!! I am setting my goal for 75 plus miles this month, mainly in the form of treadmilling, walking dvds, and elliptical when I hit the gym.. Good luck to everyone this month!!

• Hi, I would like to be involved in the February Move your *kitten* Challenge. From what I see, this has been very successful and motivating. I have made a ticker for February, but I am unsure how to go forward from here. ksyrnyk url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/exercise/wQ6O3Dl/]
• I'm up to 2 hours 22 minutes so far. Hope to pass the 5 hour mark by Sunday. Little goals, big results!!
• I'm in...are you starting from January 1, as I did a 45 minute treadmill yesterday. I'm off to do a workout right now. Thanks for setting up this motivataional, great idea! Ksyrnyk (Kathy)
• Funny, my husband and I were just having the same conversation about our gym being closed. I opted for a treadmill run - just completed 3.2 miles, so I'm okay with that. My husband chipped all the snow off our driveway and that little stint earned him 219 calories. Happy New Year, and best wishes! Ksyrnyk
• Just looking at beer makes me gain weight, but it's only temporary for me. Try for a better day tomorrow. Most of it is probably retention and you'll balance out in a day or two. Could be the new scale is off from the old one. Good luck!
