I like Siggis Icelandic style yogurt cups (skyr). They are 100-130 Cals and ~15g of protein. Grape tomatoes Small apples

Are we talking American bacon or UK bacon?

Most sandwiches are not reasonable to me. It comes down to opportunity cost. I could eat the same flavors, with roughly equal protein/fiber, as a salad. Then I have 100-200 calories left for something else. Chocolate? Cookie? Chips? Those are all more enticing than 2 slices of bread. Unless it's really good bread. I don't…

Beans, high fiber bread, salads, veggies, fruit, and an occasional Fiber One bar for dessert.

I eat a lot of smoked turkey. Are you looking for a suggestion on brand? Another option is to make a big batch of lean meat and put it in the fridge/freezer. I usually eat chicken, but it depends on what's on sale. This morning I put chicken thighs in a 400 degree oven until they were easy to shred. You can do the same…

Thanks!

Hugs. Can you start by making a few small changes and easing back into a healthier lifestyle? How about riding that motorcycle to a pretty place you can walk, like a beach, forest, park, etc?

To me, hungry is a feeling in my stomach/core. It's almost a nauseating feeling. A craving is much more in my head. Have you ever fasted before? Maybe on a non working day, get up and delay your breakfast for a bit to see if you can identify your hunger cues.

Hocus pocus...my diet defies the laws of physics!

I have 2 scales. My counter top scale (brand unknown) and a foldable scale by Joseph Joseph. I love that little thing. I don't always weigh food when I'm out, but when I want to, it works great.

Beans with some sort of fat. Maybe avocado? Nuts or nut butter.
-
I prefer smoothies, as they take me longer to consume. I like to sip. I make mine with fruit, Icelandic style yogurt, and a bit of water to loosen it up.
-
I eat refried beans. It's not one of my triggers though. I add either salsa and a half serving of light sour cream, or BBQ sauce.

Currently 129.5, goal is 125. I was there in February. My highest non-pregnancy weight was around 170.

More calorie dense food...nuts, olive oil, avocado are some good options.

I think the above poster nailed it. I don't eat it. Why? Because I infrequently eat at McDonalds/fast food, and when I do, I'm not going to eat grilled chicken. I eat plenty of that at home. I don't eat burgers, French fries, chicken patties, etc. at home. They do have small portions of these things that don't blow my…

For sweet, I eat Icelandic style yogurt. 110 cals For savory, I eat fat free refried beans with salsa and half a serving of light sour cream. 120 cals I like both of these because they are filling (protein or fiber) and they physically take longer to eat with a spoon. I take tiny bites.

My weight is roughly the same as yours, as I try to stay around 125. Today I was 123.3. I have recently been on a lower calorie diet to drop a few lbs in anticipation of a trip. I prefer to stay a bit lower in my "average life" because I tend to have HUGE splurges when we travel. It's not uncommon for me to consume 3,000+…

This is me too. I like looking at my graph and seeing the trend. Without the data points, it's much harder to analyze.

A good strategy is to slowly work up to maintainence calories by adding 100 or so at a time for a week at a time. You'll lose a bit more weight while transitioning gradually.

Roasting makes a big difference.

Not quite dinner time here yet, but we're having pulled pork, broccoli, and corn on the cob.

I got it. You mean you are not on a low carb diet. You probably have reduced carbs by cutting out some added sugar food and drinks, but you aren't in ketosis or anything,

Best with sausage gravy. Mmmm. Gravy is just a savory cream sauce. Biscuits are buttery bread. You've never dipped a breadstick in a creamy sauce before?

Kindly explain to your host your desires. Offer to help with food prep and grocery shopping. Fill your plate with salad, veggies, etc. Walk or run outside.

As an American, I HATE the sweet bread. I haven't eaten much wheat/whole grain bread in my life because of how sweet it is. With the recent push to market whole grains, there are some good supermarket alternatives now. Thank goodness.

What a person eats or doesn't eat is entirely on them. But from a management standpoint, you can't foster or endorse an unhealthy environment, sit back and say "not my problem," and then act surprised when there are negative consequences to the business. The major corporations know this, as do some of the great startups…

I think company owners and management really need to think about this in terms of employee health. A cake/box of donuts/whatever as an occasional treat is one thing, but fostering an environment of constant junk isn't good for employee health, and therefore isn't good for the company. Don't forget about productivity…

It sounds like you have a good handle on it. Careful with cooked vegetables though, as they could be covered in fats or oils. Also be mindful of the dressing and salad toppings you choose. Find a bowl and possibly get your dressing on the side.
