I think i'm just so used to having the 1200 calories minimum mentality that eating my TDEE - 20% seems like so many calories x.x

The only added sugar I really get is from yogurt and kefir. Other than that, I get all my sugar from fruits! I don't//can't drink plain milk because I'm lactose intolerant :(

Oh, I forgot to mention my height and weight! I am 4'10 and 129 pounds which is why my BMR is so small. Besides exercising (I'm actually upping my cardio starting this week because I have more tennis lessons as well as my usual gym time), I am extremely sedentary. I pretty much go to school, come home, and sit for the rest…

Although I am still young (just graduating high school this year), I haven't really seen myself thin before either. I started gaining weight when I was around 10 and it never went back down so I've spent all of my teen years being overweight. It is really exciting to think about getting to see a healthier, better me! I do…

Hi! I'm 4'10 and I started out at 140 pounds back in November. I'm currently 124-125 pounds and hoping to be at 100-105 by June :)

This sounds really stupid... But I actually convinced myself that I liked broccoli. I read an article a few years ago that the brain can be quite "dumb" sometimes and if you tell yourself something over and over again, it is possible to actually start believing it! I decided to try it on a whim because I hated broccoli but…

That's such an awesome, new way to show your success! You look so amazing in that dress too :) I never expected it, but a ring that I used to wear on my fourth finger (and it was tight too) can now slide on to my index finger! It's so strange how fat is burned up in the hands too.

I'm 4'11 (yes, UNDER 5 feet -_-) and currently weigh 124-125 pounds. I started off at 140 in November and I'm hoping to be at 105 by June.

I was super frustrated with it at first as well, but it's a breeze for me these days. After I cut out a few bad food choices, pretty much everything I eat is in the database and it makes it really easy for me to keep track of what I eat. I have heard someone else say on the message boards that if a certain food isn't in…

Thank you for your reply :) I wish my body would just listen to my commands and use up my fat stores more quickly! xD But I definitely do not want to stifle my own progress by eating too much... and I now realize, eating too LITTLE.

I guess I just thought that even if I got out of bed a little, I wouldn't really be losing a LOT more than 1260 a day. I thought my petiteness would make it extra hard for me to lose weight and in turn, I should eat even less. Seeing these posts though, I am starting to realize that eating 1200 calories isn't setting me…

I live quite the inactive lifestyle though... I pretty much go to school, come home and sit in front of the computer for the rest of the day unless I go exercise (around 4 times a week). If I ate my BMR + exercise calories back, wouldn't that pretty much amount to a minuscule weight loss?

I'm so happy I found this forum! I always felt like such a black sheep because of my chubbiness and even shorter-than-average height, even for an Asian -_- (I'm 4 feet 10 and 126 pounds. Was 140 in November at my heaviest.) It feels great to know that I'm not the only one that feels like this. My family immigrated to…

I think I may have a bit of social anxiety disorder so my shy, quiet demeanor definitely makes it easy for me to be "invisible". It's really frustrating because I can loosen up a lot around my small number of friends but people I'm not familiar with can't see that and mistake my neutral expression as me being angry (I…

9! I would give you a 10, but I'm not really into muscles that big so... xD

Thank you for your reply :) I already do some strength training in between my 10 minute warm up and my cardio afterwards. I usually do 3 sets of leg presses, leg curls, hip adductions, tricep pulling down thingies (what exactly are they called?), and I occasionally do the fly for triceps. I typically only do 20-30 for each…
