Accidentally dropped a 100 lb plate about 1' from the floor... onto my big toe.

I never really drank coffee until I started working a security job (random 16 hour shifts/night shifts, yay). I have not noticed it having any effect on my weight loss. Though, if anything, it has helped to keep me up so that I could go to the gym after work. So... yup, good stuff imo. The only bad part about coffee is…

Been playing PC games since I was in junior high school. Currently playing WoW, though very casually due to work/life.

Plain black/grey Hanes shirts/undershirts + adidas shorts is all I wear for the gym. Oh, and for shoes, pretty much anything with a rigid/flat sole on lifting days.

Nothing wrong with eating tons of vegetables. Just make sure you're not overdoing it with the dressing/croutons/salt/etc. as well.

Popeye's chicken, anything from Denny's, white rice (though switching to brown rice made it easy), soda (used to drink 4 cans per day), those giant cans of Arizona tea (usually had 1 per day), the red kool-aid, tortilla chips, potato chips, bacon, and basically any form of meat with salty stuff on it. My goodness. I typed…

Mustard greens. Wonderful, wonderful mustard greens. [though, I can only eat it boiled and with some salt]

I've played since BC, but quit right before the 2nd set of WOTLK raids, so that I could focus on school (university got hard). I started playing again when Cataclysm came out, but quit around May '11 when the first set of Cataclysm raids were out for a bit. ...lately I've been reminiscing hard about BC times, which were…

What keeps me on my plan: Knowing that if I stray too far from my plan, I won't see results. Knowing my current caloric deficit is only temporary, and in a few months I'll be eating more than double of what I am right now (to maintain/bulk up). Knowing that whatever foods/substances I put in my body are going to be used to…

> Loose skin. My skin at the moment is fine everywhere except for my abdomen. Maybe once I bulk/cut for a few years it'll look better, but I think I may eventually need surgery to get rid of it because the damage has already been done.

Pretty much everything that I enjoy, especially because my stomach and appetite are endless.

Had my 2nd snack of the day, which was: 1 light string cheese, 1 slice of whole wheat bread, and 10g of roasted almonds.

Yes! I loveee that game. My old favorites: FFVII, FFIX, FFX, the NES Mega Mans, Mega Bomberman, Diablo 1/2, Dance Dance Revolution (lol), Streets of Rage 1/2/3, Boogerman, Sonic games for the Sega Genesis, and a lot more Sega games I can't recall at the moment.

I used to listen to songs that made me angry (a lot of rock, metal, etc.), but I didn't enjoy being angry. Thus, I listen to whatever makes me happy when I work out (a lot of trance and house). Though lately I've been listening to whatever the gym is playing, because my iPod is practically dead (can only keep a charge for…

For food: > You can cook a bunch of food in one sitting, put them in individual tupperwares/plastic bags, and put them in the refrigerator/freezer. Example: Boil several pounds of chicken, keep some in the fridge/freezer, and put some in tupperwares with other food to make pre-made meals ready to go. My personal tupperware…

Simply amazing. Congratulations!

Use the anger as motivation for your workouts! I've had some of my best workouts when I'd remember humiliating moments in my life that happened when I was obese. My Own Example: - When I was 16, I went to Cedar Point with my family. My sister and I waited in line for the Millennium Force roller-coaster, while my parents…

I'm a 24 year old dude trying to cut down to 140 pounds before I start bulking/cutting. I've been obese/overweight since middle school, 260 pounds at my heaviest, and have cut down to about 172 pounds in the last 2ish years. These last 32 pounds that I want to lose have been the hardest, which is why I joined MFP, since I…

Yuppp. That's my goal once I get down to around 140 pounds.

Only time shall tell now. Thank you everyone for your advice and input.

cedarghost: Thank you for the advice. I never thought of using that method to find my approximate BMR. Finally knowing it will be amazing. I have no problem eating more, I just need to keep on consistently working out. Tavistocktoad: I'm not sure if this is "broscience," but I believe that when one is on a caloric deficit,…

T1mH: According to some blood/urine tests and a visit to my physician and a dietitian, my body was in "starvation mode." During the 3 weeks that I spent to get my metabolism and everything else back in order, I forced myself to eat (lost my appetite during this time for the most part), while continuing with my workout…
