^^^This.. I have one of these bottles and like it, it keeps my id and keys stored, I even carry pepper spray in it, the hand hold keeps in on my hand and I don't have to feel like I am holding the bottle all the time. I also have an arm band that I use for my phone and have tucked a single key in my arm band behind my…

I am new to my running group. I have run with them 4 times now and I really like it. There are a ton of people each meetup, they meet Sunday mornings for the weekly long runs and they do interval training on Thurs evenings. This group mostly trains for the LA marathon but they do some smaller events as well. Also they host…

OMG !! I feel like a wuss compared to you all. I would never consider running outside in any single digit temps let alone negative temps. You are all brave, I admire and commend you all !! The coldest I have ran in is 35F, but I am also in Southern California so we don't get the frigid weather. I would have to move to the…

I cant say that I have officially lost a toe nail, But after my HM back in October I had some pain on my forth toe on my left foot. I did not think anything of it until getting a pedicure 4 weeks later. My toenail was still purple, and it looked like I was going to lose it. However that nail is still hanging on, it is dead…

I wouldn't say for sure that its PF. however I do recommend going and getting fitted for proper running shoes if you plan on continuing to run. I actually had a lot of shin splint issues and had fascitis (I did seek Dr,s advise) and was told to continue with my running since I was training for a Half marathon. BUT if my…

Drinking unsweetened tea, flavoring your water with mio, crystal light, lemon juice or even lime juice. It all helps when you start to get bored of the plain stuff. I drink a ton of water and it does get a little boring so you have to change it up every so often

^^^^ Great advice here 1. I am an over pronator, its bad actually, I am a mid -heel striker as well 2. I was professionally fitted at a running store and I wear Brooks Ariels 3. I have tried several different shoes that I picked up at Sports Authority and Sports Chalet. None of them worked out for me. Once I went to get…

Good for you for getting it done even with a hangover, that is the right way to start the new year!

Did not get out for a run or to the gym, but I did take down my Christmas tree and then went outside in the backyard to rake so leaves, so I guess those count!

Thanks as always Luvshunshine1 for continuing to host this challenge. I love it and find that it really keeps me going along with the other challenges that I am part of. Plus I get hints from looking at what others are doing to get it done!! I am in again for what I think is month #6 :flowerforyou: 24 hours = 1440 minutes…

Hey all, the C25k program is a great program, you are going to love it if you stick with it. Just wanted to let you know that there is a C25k group on here that offers great info and tips. They are a great group of people and helped me on my journey of the c25k app..…

I have lost and gained. When I have done a considerable amount of training for a race I tend to gain. I don't know why that is. But with normal training I can lose. It really does matter what you eat and how much you eat though. Keep to the plan, make sure you have your settings correct on MFP as well.

I also suggest getting into to a specialized running store, try looking one up in you area. They are great at fitting you for shoes and will tell you if the current shoes you have actually work for you. I was having shin splints and PF issues when I first started my C25k. Once I get fitted for correct running shoes my shin…
