If your in a deficit your not building muscle.... what you see is a pump. Your body is stripping fat. But at that low of cals, unfortunately muscle too. Like the other poster said, bump up your cals a bit. Deficit=lose fat Surplus= build muscle I didn't invent the wheel.

Loosing that much a week is pretty damn agressive. Hope you don't think your building any muscle. Probably losing muscle. Not hating at all. I recall I did something similar 3 years ago. But you might not be trying to build muscle. Lot of variables.
