  • Just a heads up for anyone with dairy issues, the Starbucks pumpkin spice syrup has dairy in it. Makes me sad because I like the Frappuccino version and haven't mastered making it at home, yet.
  • OK those are gorgeous!!! and Welcome @eclaire8511 I think your lunches are beautiful as well! Ok, time for my lame bentos to be added (^_^)v Two lunches and two dinner boxes (hubby comes home late two nights a week)
  • It isn't a soapbox. Misinformation is never a good thing to go around. I am very sorry about that. But yes, allergy, sensitivity, and celiac's disease are very different things. That is why OP it is important to find out the truth. I believe I have a dairy sensitivity. So when I do cut out dairy (my cheese!!!), I also make…
  • There is a blood test for gluten allergy aka celiac's disease. You must be eating gluten to get it. Also elimination diet is meant for the food to be reintroduced after the 2 weeks to see if it was the cause. I think you need to follow your doctor's orders and see what the cause is. You can still lose weight by counting…
  • Just not taking pictures of bentos as they just are not pretty :( Plus been doing soup and simple things, like today was steamed buns. I have been doing dinner boxes too as two night a week husband has late nights. I love everyones bentos!!
  • It would be 77 pounds. One stone is 14 pounds.
  • I clicked on the link and than open picture in new tab and use that link (from the picture by itself in the new tab) as the image and it worked ^_^
  • Two boxes from this week. (Not) Butter Chicken with rice and carrots And this one is leftover One Pot Mexican Pasta with colby jack cheese on top.
  • @Narcissora Congrats on the new job. Bento looks yummy.
  • Leftovers, but finally made the baked croquette. They turned out well, just a bit bland. We used ketchup instead of tonkatsu sauce. Might just try the tonkatsu sauce next time. Ketchup in little pandas, leftover fresh corn, and two korokke (133 calories each). So about 390 calories total, I did not weight the corn or…
  • Happy Birthday!! They have babybel gouda? o.O I may just have to find that. No real special bentos, however did find a few new boxes at a store called At Home in my area of the USA. I need to remove the sticky tape stuff from the tags better, so forgive the kind of funny look. And also, from the other day, the chicken parm…
  • You know as lovely as that is, your lunches look better. At least to me. I have a picture of DH lunch, but it looks sad :( Leftover chicken parmesan, but use a new method to cook it. So while I was looking for soboro recipes I found a baked croquette (korokke) and the site had the recipe for chicken and pork too, I love…
  • You know what the funny part to that is? Yeah, hubby told me tonight that the candy spilled all over the food :( I haz the sad panda feels. Lucky he had a spare lunch made by me at work, but still. Sorry had to chime in ^_^
  • I must swim free........... Ok, finally took a pic of hubby's lunch. Leftover mac/cheese made with ground carrots and chicken and some Reese pieces.
  • Yay, just caught up!! So school starts again, well has started, we moved, and things are starting to settle down for us. So back to bento boxes! I need to buy more, so I can make some for kids and myself at night (we all stay at home). Might make the days easier, plus low low calories for me for a while. Love all the…
  • I keep pawing my bento stuff, which is packed away, sides for one lunch box. I fix hubby lunch today, only for his boss to take him out to lunch >.> Leftover cheese broccoli & chicken rice. Forgot to take a picture, boo boo! I can;t wait to try out some of these lovely ideas. I am still here, just lurking away.
  • So I haven't posted in a while. Getting ready for a move during the summer, so the boxes are in use, some! Today was for the whole family. Tuna rice balls (mayo, mustard, curry), halved for the young ones, hubby made his own lunch of chicken fries, carrots, cheese, with bbq sauce (in green) and mine (in red) was kale…
  • 5'6" 1/2 Currently 147.5lbs and thinking I have 20-30 more pounds to go. 1st goal is drop to 128lbs and see about re-comping from there if body fat is low enough. I started at 247-ish, never been below 160, really ever in my adult life. So I have no idea what the best weight for me is, all I know is I want to be strong and…
  • Those look lovely. Can you let me know how you made these, please? Thank you
  • I love the suit. I also think the body it is on looks great. Be proud, 90lbs is a good amount. Also BMI is just a guideline, you don't have to aim for a 18.5 to be perfect. You are in a healthy weight range, so rock out in your bikini hun!
  • Happy belated Birthday!!!
  • All the food looks so yummy!! I am with sagi, trying to taste all the yummies through the screen doesn't work! @PixelPuff and @mangrothian No spoilers, just no :'( I am only on chapter like 150 I think.
  • This looks sooo yummy. I might just have to go for dumplings, carrots, and edamame tomorrow for lunch!
  • So today and tomorrow is it for lunches for a while, I think. We might still do a bento here and there with travels. I might take more time trying to make cute lunches and dinners to work on my skills. Kind of boring but thrown together tortillas with leftover salsa pork, pinto beans, and cheese.
  • They have muscle removal surgery in Korea, so I understand your feelings here. Asians like to be very small and it is frown a-pond in most Asian countries that I know of for women to build muscle. In the USA and Europe this stereotype of women bulking is there, but it is not as harsh. Fitspo is really in. There is still a…
  • No box for hubby today. I am protesting his working but he will be coming home on lunch, so I guess I will throw something together for him >.< Thinking chili, cheese, and fritos. I am a lazy wife, well that and he does not care for the cute things I make, nor do the kids, soooooo depressing! Now I want cherries too for…
  • I think this be a good place to look. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10043413/using-bento-boxes-for-lunches/p1 47 pages is a lot to go through but you can get some great lunch ideas here!
  • Agh, still just need to fill these better, but I think the issue is my box sizes, they are either to big or to small. Tomorrow's lunch is spinach, cheese, rice with pinto beans and chicken.
  • Happy Wednesday! It getting towards the end of the year (hubby's a teacher) and I am just not making lunches as much and as it is, hubby is forgetting them at home >.> Today's is lighten up shepherd's pie with cheese on top.
