Well if you think about it, you are just speaking about goals, goals change as time passes on. Anyone can make their goal and than make a new goal once the previous one was reached. And we should all continue setting goals and challenges for our self too. Maybe also the fear of extremes? Going from one extreme to the next…

The only person I have said I don't want to get to skinny to is my husband. I am not even sure why he freaks out about my weight goal but he does major time. >.< My BMI goal is on the lower side of it. My first goal is 20.0 BMI. However, the scale, measuring tapes, and body fat all play a part. Ideally I like to be around…

Love this! I saw the big snickers bar at Toys R Us, and the only thought in my mind was how hard cutting it would be. I cut lots of candy when I was younger, my mom had a bakery/candy shop.

Congrats! It is best to be happy with yourself. I will say I am on the other end of the BMI side, where I am in a healthy BMI however my bodyfat % and height/waist ratios are all still over weight. I will be on the smaller end of BMI to be healthy and I am ok with that. All of these numbers are just estimates of health,…

(5'6") Freshman year of HS I weighted around 165lbs. I think when I graduated HS, I weighted 200lbs. I got down to 165lbs again around 20 years old, than gained it all back. My lowest weight after that was 180 for a few months, and my highest weight has been 254lbs non-pregnant. I am currently 144.4lbs, my lowest weight,…

5'6" 1/2 (small framed) SW: 246 lbs CW: 148.4 lbs GW: 125 lbs (But honestly, it about how my body looks and what it can do. I want to gain some muscle mass after 125-130lbs range. The scale number is only one piece of the puzzle)

Everyone is different. I have seen many stories of mothers not losing any weight till they stop breastfeeding and others just lose weight without doing anything. Like others said, it took you 9 months to gain weight, so please give it time and enjoy your baby. Think of it this way, 18 of 40 pounds is almost half, slow and…

Congratulation! May you continue on being healthy.

Might I just say you are all awesome ladies. :flowerforyou:

That seems off to me, as BMI for 5'8 is about 123lbs - 163lbs (not sure about this?) and according to body frame size, small 126-139, medium 136-150, and large is 146-167. Keep your goal weight and when you get closer to it you can always change it than.

Sep 19th 2013 I weight 234lbs and as of Sep 20th 2014 I am 150.4lbs, so a total 83.6 pounds lost in a year. It will take me about another 3-4 months to reach my first goal and probably a year plus after goal one to get my body where I want it. I have eaten 1400 cals, probably netting less, which was not good for me, to now…

Talk to your doctors about taking a maintenance break for at least 10 days and make sure you get enough nutrients. Weight loss is not a race. I have taken my time to lose weight and even than, if I do a cal cut of 500 from my maintenance calories, my hair falls out. There is nothing I can do to stop it. Nothing, no product…

There is also another one by him, Body By You by Mark Lauren with Joshua Clark, that is aimed at women. I just got that one myself to try out, still reading through it.

My question is, how long do you plan on doing the meal replacement shakes? To me, it is honestly better to set up healthy habits you can maintain after losing the weight. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants…

So I am really late replying to this, but this hit home for me today. The number on the scale is so unreal. I now weight less than my 16 year old self did and that is when I was at my smallest. I will say, that even if someone was thin in the past, they still might not look like they use to. My body shape now is completely…

26 year old male who is 5'8 and 150lbs, well your BMI 22.8, so you are in a healthy range. When you bulk, you are going to add fat, why not learn more about bulking and go from there? Either way, 1000 is very aggressive for someone with so little weight to lose. I am losing 1lb a week with a total of about 32ish pounds to…
