Yes, you are going over in cals. You need to be in the green, every day. Eat back no more than 1/2 your exercise cals at first. Weight your food, even meals out. I was playing with it too and am also getting results all over the place. My walking 4.0mph was 902 cals burned for an hour. So yeah, the system is a little funny there. I weight 183lbs. If she is 5'0, 7 stones would still be in the healthy BMI range for her weight, just the lower side of it. And why not start trying and see where you end up? You might not make your ideal goal weight, but at least you would be trying to make yourself feel better.

This thread needs a beer milkshake. I get that OP is trying to explain why some people can not eat up to their calorie goal. I understand people saying to not care about loose skin, but it just is not that easy. I have been go slowly to help let my skin go back into place with lotions and scrubs too. Enjoy the time with your daughter. They grow up way to fast. You look amazing. I do agree with maybe changing your routine up somehow. Maybe you can talk to the doctor about lowering your cals by x amount each week too and see how you do. You can do it!! :smile:

We need some sort of guide for people to go by and no system is perfect. I need to lose a pound according to BMI to be just overweight. Truthfully, I will still be obese until I lose another 10-20lbs. My good weight is at the lower end of the BMI charts.

Since no one else has mention it, do you weight all your food? I am sure you have read it since you have been on MFP for a while now, but make sure you are keeping up with that. It helps keep the error of counting down. Try just eating back half your exercise calories at first too. Good luck.
