I just go do other things to keep my hands and mind busy. Sometimes I'll even nap. Plus I don't keep the "naughties" in the house. Because usually I don't want to bother going to the store just to get them. I say usually, because sometimes I will. But normally once I am safely at home, I don't like to go back out again…

I went off it cold turkey about 2 months ago. It was NOT fun. I do NOT recommend it. EDIT to add, I was on it for about 2-3 years when I made this leap.

Congratulations! That's a good feeling. :)

I agree with what's been said here. Keep looking forward. Kicking yourself over it won't help. Just resolve to do better going forward. *hugs* You can do this. :)

Thank you all so much for the adds and comments. You guys are awesome! :)

Block him before it gets worse. I let mine get to where cops had to be involved...and since it was across state lines (He moved back to momma.) the police were useless and no one wanted to take ownership. "Oh he's in that state, so it's theirs. Oh, you're in this state so it's theirs." It was frustrating and angering.…

I have to get my mind on something else. ANYTHING else that stays away from food. I generally do something crafty, like counted cross stitch or crochet. Something that occupies my thoughts and hands enough that I can't go get food to "fix it". (I don't like having dirty hands when handling my projects, and eating would…

Just wonderful. And your story about your hubby and the scales! You're lucky to have such a wonderfully supportive and concerned man. :) Congratulations!

If you can afford it, go for it! If he can have toys, you can certainly have clothing that fits you.

Thank you both. I will check them out. :) Really appreciate it!

Weighing myself and seeing I was closer to 300 than I ever wanted to be. I had realized I gained over 60 lbs in a year, because I was eating away my heartache and frustrations.

Mine is paper. Since I like to write in random places, and don't always have digital access. PLUS at work, they block more and more sites. But really, it's whatever is most convenient to your life. Mine stays in my purse, along with a pen.

I do. I use it to get out the anger and frustration I have that no one else wants to listen to. I write down the date, time, and day and then I just start. You can write to yourself. You can write in general. Just put down what you're feeling. Whatever you need to get out. I even draw sometimes. I make lists if I need to.…

Marking to print off when I get home. Thank you for the post.

Once a week. And I try to do it at the same time every week. Since weight fluctuates so much on a daily basis, I figure it's best not to drive myself batty weighing every chance I get.

I stopped weighing when I got to 285, because of how close that was to 300.
