  • Donuts. So evil. Thank you for being an ER Nurse. Your work helps so many and I appreciate it. I could never be a nurse of any kind so I can deeply appreciate a nurse, especially an ER Nurse, I can't imagine it's very glamorous. :)
  • I worked in an office for about a year and I noticed the ladies would get together and go walk the industrial park on their lunches. I often found myself like you, so busy that it would keep me from snacking and sometimes I'd forget to eat at all. It's great to find a balance.
  • My normal job is in a construction trailer. I make it an effort, like you, to get extra steps in. I used to smoke so I would use it as an excuse to go outside and walk my job site. Now I go outside and walk until I don't want to anymore. Sometimes though, I forget to get up and go walk. It's easy to slide into work mode…
  • I did it yesterday, it caused the guy to stop and try to talk to me. I was heaving on the bike and had both earbuds in, least oportune time ever. I accepted it as a slap. No more elevator eyes from me. Haha
  • Happy birthday! Of course they count, but they weigh as much as you want to make them on your birthday as with any other day. Portion control is a good plan. But enjoying your day of food is a better plan.
  • Haha I was recently at the outdoor range and the sight on my .40 was off, I knew it was. Boy, I hit everything on the box except the target.
  • 6 yrs old. A .22. 32 yrs later I'm an EDC of a compact .40. I live in a state where I can legally own assault weapons so I have a couple AR's and AK's. I have my concealed carry and I carry EVERYWHERE. I fly withe my EDC, properly. I don't defend my rights, I know my rights and anyone who is anti guns is welcome to my home…
  • If I could go back to my 16yo self I would tell myself, say no to the ex. I'd push college to my 18yo self so I could have been a teen longer. I'd tell her to cut her mom off because waiting until I was 30 leaves me with minor baggage. I'd give her a hug and tell her when she's feeling lonely it's okay, she's alone but…
  • I am an elevator eyes type gym person. I blatantly checkout everyone. No crush, I'm not shy, I just don't care.
  • I'm an insomniac so I take Ambien and have for years. I notice I will wake even when taking Ambien if I'm low on iron or B12. Now I take a daily supplement of B12 in the morning. It helps especially on days where my night was broken with sleep. My anxiety towards sleep is like impending doom, I know what is coming the next…
  • I'm J and I'm addicted to my Roku. Netflix, Hulu, CW Seed, The Smithsonian, NatGeo. I work from home so I leave the TV on as white noise.
  • I weigh myself once a week. If I were to weigh myself daily that would change what I ate and how hard I worked out, I like my meal prep and planned workouts. Bottomline, you weigh yourself when you want to.
  • I stick with my Nike Air Max, whatever the current variation is. My daily wear are Ariat boots. My Nikes are great for the gym and hiking.
  • Rhonda Rousey. I won't get that type of body because no one has the same body or a copy cat body. Ultimately I am looking for toned and strength.
  • I'm a fan of tuna but I only buy the packs, I've tried to get away from canned items. I enjoy my tune on my brown & wild rice with fresh pico de gallo and a sprinkle of jalapeño cheese. High protein, good carbs.
  • I have a Polar FT 70 or 90 or whatever. The newest one. I love it for my workouts. I think it only comes in Black or White. My white one is pretty. For sleep tracking and steps other things I use my Samsung App on my phone.
  • I do cardio 6 days a week, 30-60 minutes riding, eliptical or running. 3 days a week I add toning/strength training. I'm setting myself up for long term. If I can go to the gym 6 days a week I can stick to my goals.

  • ^ This. Perfectly said.
  • Is a bathroom scale bigger than a 12x12? The 2 I have ever owned were not large, so I don't think I would run into this problem. I've taken mine outside, in my backyard, and used the concrete. It's level, it's flat, it's not carpeted.
  • I name cats, not kids. But I like my nieces and nephews names. Alexander James Brittany Nicole Isaiah Robert Elijah Scott Rebekka Nicole My cats names are: Sasha Nikole Olive Prissy Pants Elmo Prissy Prince
  • Oatmeal with a small banana. And a Latte (so sweeteners). I'm going to make breakfast sandwiches to freeze on Sundays and pack to work for the week, I need to be able to change it up.
  • I will never be able to stop taking Zoloft. My Anxiety and Panic is so high, without it I'd leap off a building without blinking. Moving on, I haven't had trouble with weight gain or weight loss. Every single person is different. I'm not a person who sees side effects from medications, my sister is "allergic" to 90% of the…
  • I like viewing diaries. I like getting ideas for food that I may not have thought to eat on my own. I can't admonish someone for going over their calorie count that day, if it's what works for them, then so be it. On the other side, don't eat over your calorie goal every single day with no working out and complain that you…
  • THIS. While we all strive to change up our diets, add fruits and veggies, maybe go Vegan, it's all choices. And trial and error (in small amounts don't go buying 12 pounds of broccoli if you have to choke it down) and finding what you DO like that you can supplement or add (sea salt or butter or something else in…
  • I tend to stay away from cardboard like food, it is usually carb-y and full of calories. This morning I was busy, multitasking, attempting to eat my oatmeal with a banana and it was FREEZING in my office and my phone wouldn't stop ringing...the oatmeal became slightly gelatinous. I warmed it by adding a bit of hot water,…
  • I have no intention of "giving" up booze. I, however, do take Ambien and I am not a fan of mixing booze with my sleep meds, I always intend to wake in the morning. As with all consumables, I don't give it up, I portion control, moderate. Though, I haven't had soda in awhile. I'm just not a fan of it, but if i had a…
  • I'm betting more often than not the "skinny" people at the gym looking at you are thinking, "Damn it, I lost count of my reps. Did I pay the electric bill? I wonder what I should have for dinner. Hmmm, kids haven't text me saying they are home, I should find out." OR "It's nice to see her working out. I remember my first…
  • You could always go on their website and see what they have and pick ahead.
