That, sir, is merely a facsimile, a very nice one, of the dress that Jessica Rabbit wore. The actual drawn dress was not a corset, merely a dress that hugged Jessica's drawn curves. There was no shaping being done as a corset is designed to do.
-
That might be the case if that had been a case of meta-topics. It was not. I were not discussing the discussion but rather I was discussing the topic of corsets as it related to Jessica Rabbit. This is now a meta topic, this back and forth as we discuss if I was on topic or not, but the Jessica Rabbit bit was not.

This still has nothing to do with the topic. And I was on topic. Someone said Jessica Rabbit was wearing a corset. She was not. It's important for the OP to know that she wasn't wearing a corset and that she was just drawn that way. A corset won't achieve that shape. So please stay on the topic of corsets, not on non…

Calling irony has nothing to do with the topic.

Ummmmm. This topic isn't about bras or being topless.
-
That's not a corset. She's just drawn that way.
-
That's great. It still has nothing to do with corsets and bras.
-
It's not even really related to bras. Its not even necessarily a shared component since they weren't being told to put on bras but to cover up their pectoral area. They are challenging cultural mores, not talking about the desire to wear a bra or corset.
-
This seems unrelated to corsets.
-
They tried to leave bras behind too. I'm glad they caught back up.

I learned something interesting about each responder in this thread. And about myself too.

Does premium work or are just as many things broken? If just as many things are broken, then it would be a rip off. ETA: Ah, it looks like just as many things are broken. Definitely a rip off. "Here, pay for this thing we can't/won't fix." But hey, different things work for different companies. Good luck on selling broken…

The medication doesn't change your levels overnight. It takes time for those changes to take place, hence the waiting for a couple of months.

Any food, just less of it, has worked well for me but moderation and calorie counting is only one possible path to success. Good luck finding what works for you!

Well, if one of your symptoms was complete lack of energy and your energy returns once your levels get adjusted, then it might feel like it just comes off as your activity level automatically increases. It will still be a result of the CI < CO equation.

Luckily they can't miss the actual words I wrote. "Not advisable" "Don't think there's anything based in science" "No matter how lacking in medical rationale" It is possible to be both supportive and not make a poster feel terrible for having simply asked the question.
-
It's a good thing no one in this thread has done that. It would be terrible.
-
You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means. You read a lot of ideas into my posts which aren't there. I'm just trying to be more supportive as I was strongly instructed to do. And she has recieved a lot of harshly worded posts concerning her question but no support within those posts. But I…
-
No, I wished her luck on her journey.

You are mixing up being supportive of other posters with supporting different, proposed alternatives. I believe I've mentioned that it has no medical or science based back up several times. It's important to properly speak to other forum users. There are right and wrong ways to give advice or show support.

I never encouraged it.

And they say woo isn't a word for mocking...

I'm so happy that this thread is still going. It's nice to see that one possible, though perhaps not advisable, weight loss method post is still getting so many views! It was a great question, OP!
-
Just as some will experience success with certain diet approaches where others fail, some will get the humor in a statement where others fail to do so.
-
Dialysis? What is this, the dark ages?
-
Well, bleeding was a common medical and accepted practice at one point.
-
Mom sorry your thread is being derailed, OP. You have my sympathies.
-
If we do not change to suit the times and wishes of our masters, we are doomed to extinction. OP. I hope these people have not offended you. Their outright dismissal of alternatives, no matter how lacking in medical science rational, is not a reflection of you. Good luck on your many faceted journey.
