All Miley has done is show the world how immature she is, especially with her childish response to Sinead's letter. She's young and she's stupid. But then again, who hasn't been young and stupid? Hopefully she'll grow out of this phase and focus on making good music instead. And hopefully everyone will stop…

Some ideas of exercises that will probably burn at least 200 calories: A 30 minute brisk walk A 20-25 minute run Window shopping at the mall for an hour A 30 minute bike ride (at a good pace) 20-30 minutes on the elliptical 30 minutes of Zumba

Amen, sister! Nothing wrong with taking a day or two off. I normally take two days off just to rest every single week. So during shark week, I just plan one of those rest days on my crampy day. I personally think it's quite ridiculous to advocate being so crazy hardcore that you NEVER take a day off, even on days…

Ditto. I get cramps so severe that I vomit from the pain. I literally can't do anything except lie down. If I get up to use the bathroom, I vomit on my way there. Over-the-counter painkillers have no effect, so I take a prescription drug to lessen the pain. But I still feel just blahhh when I have cramps. My cramps only…

OP...if it's not broke, don't fix it! What I'm trying to say is that if eating 2000 cals/day, burning 500, and netting 1500 is working for you and you're losing weight...STICK TO THAT! Fast weight loss isn't healthy anyway. Not only do you lose more body fat, but because you're starving your body, it's impossible…

iamwilso: Nope, it's not Jessica. CuddlyFish: I noticed that lol! meeper123: I''m going to guess...Whitney?

jdad: Umm, 190 lbs, 20%? (I'm probably bad at guessing men! Sorry if I'm way off!)
-
No, but you're not terribly far off. And I suck at this too lol! I'm going to guess for you: 125 lbs, 20% ?
-
Samim: 180 lbs, 15% ?? I'm not good with guessing for men lol.
-
Wow! You're good! I'm 5'4" exactly! sam: 5'11"??
-
Oooh, so I was close then! And nope, I'm not 5'6"! Catrinah: I'm going to guess 5'8" for you. Also, you're gorgeous!
-
zip: My guess for you would have been 5'10", but you already gave away the fact that you're 5'8" CharlottetheCoffeeLover (I love your name, btw!): I'm going to guess 5'7"

I agree with this! Changing your goal to a slower weight loss pace will actually be MORE encouraging because it'll be so much easier to stick to it. If it's easy and enjoyable to stick to a weight loss plan, then it won't feel like a diet and you'll be able to keep it up long-term...which means REAL results and a MUCH…

It might be the foods you're eating. If you eat good, healthy food, 1570/day is very doable and can even leave you stuffed. If you eat a bunch of sugary junk that's basically empty calories, then you'll still be very hungry at the end of the day. But, like someone else said, if you find that 1570 is too much of an…

I agree. It's mainly your style in general and your eyes and eye makeup.

For me, eating a later dinner and saving some calories for dessert works wonders!

thepervette: Kat Von D EDIT: jaycbadass, we were on the same wavelength there! For you, I'd say that one guy from CSI Miami

I've learned that it's just best to shut up about weight issues with most people. I only talk about it with people who I know will understand, such as a healthy friend or people on MFP who are all going through the same thing. I would never blast that publicly on Facebook though, mainly because I know FULL WELL that it…

Don't lose heart! I've been where you are! And I can promise you this: IT GETS BETTER! If you keep at it and keep trying your best to eat healthy and exercise, it's slowly going to keep getting better and better! How? Eventually you're going to start to enjoy exercise. Your body will SHOCK you by actually ENJOYING…

My philosophy exactly! Although I normally do midnight to midnight, I'm really quite lax about that. Sometimes I'll log a 3 am snack into the previous day if that day had extra room. If I have a really bad binge one day, I might log half of it into the next day to remind myself to balance it out. All that really…

I think fasting is only good if: it's for a short duration + for religious or other personal reasons that have nothing to do with weight loss, detoxing, or health. But that's my personal opinion. If you want to try it, go ahead and try it for a few days and see how you like it.

Whey protein shakes are for people who need to increase their protein count because they're lifting weights and building muscle. They don't "help you lose weight." They CAN help your weight loss come more from fat instead of muscle if you're already eating at a deficit along with working out and strength training. But by…

1. Are you measuring your food accurately? When you log 1 cup or 2 tablespoons, did you actually measure that amount out? Make sure you do! It can make a HUGE difference! 2. Are you logging all of the liquids you're drinking? If you drink Coca-Cola, fruit juice, tea, coffee, lemonade, or any drink that's not water with any…

I get asked that ALL THE TIME and get the same disappointed reactions too!!! And I always get super excited when people ask me how I lost the weight and what I did because I'm always so excited to tell them how simple it really was and that anyone can do it...I just ate healthier, ate less, moved more, and did everything…

I agree with what she said, OP. The thing is that when people talk about "fruit sugar being better than sugar from candy" they usually mean that when comparing a piece of fruit and a candy bar that both have the same exact amount in sugar in them, the fruit is healthier because it naturally has lots of other natural…

I meant "not actually that stupid"; it was a typo that I fixed, but apparently not quick enough. I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt there. If it works for you, then great. And honestly, as long as you follow the calories that the heart rate monitor says, you're fine. I only said what I said because you…

I love my Fitbit! I have a Fitbit One and I especially love the stair climbing feature that the One has! I got mine as a Christmas gift last December and I have lost 12 lbs since then by using it and syncing it to MFP. It encourages me to move more with goals, rankings, and award badges. It was really eye-opening for me…

I agree with this. Don't kill yourself. It's actually much healthier to lose weight at a slower pace. So if you have your goal set to losing 1 lb/week on MFP and you're only 200 calories from that goal number right now, just eat a normal (but healthy) dinner and settle for a small deficit today. You're still in a deficit,…
