Didn't get into the Stacker craze or Hydroxycut. I have used pre-workouts that had CLA in them or had protein with thermogenic ingredients (mostly capsasin), but nothing that would be considered a diet pill. I still take protein with thermogenic ingredients, multi-vitamins, fish oil, and sometimes CLA when it's available.

Welcome! First off, congrats that you are wanting to get a healthier lifestyle. Doing the same thing everyday does lose its luster. I would suggest coming up with a program that tailors to what you want to do. You can try by going to a local gym to see if there are trainers available for your use. If not, there are…

OMG I love spinning. It's a great workout. Usually a burn within an hour of spinning (usually a class will last that long) is around 700 calories (if you weight more than it's usually higher). It's a great motivator when you are in a class and you aren't just sitting on your butt; you do hill climbs, speed traps, etc. If…

There are a lot of sugar free options, but honestly don't eat refined sugar (candy, sweets, cookies, etc.). Get your glucose from raw fruits and veggies. I switched to that and my sugar intake has decreased. Also check with your water intake and if it's really serious get it checked out.

What were you doing that caused the gain? Did you get off on the diet? less time exercising? stress?

I may had lost 5# but I wasn't sticking to my diet and exercise like I want. I was only working out for an hour compared to my 2 hr blowouts!

I'm doing a bb.com workout that is actually working. Yes, I'm in a caloric deficit and I've increase my protein intake and limited myself on carbs (not in ketosis). I've developed strength in my arms, back and legs. I am including a bit of cardio just to burn off excess energy that the strength training didn't rid; I'm not…

You may have answer the questions already but just humor me: Are you eating portioned-sized amounts when you eat? Are you checking your macros (carbs/fats/proteins)? Have you changed your workout routine? If so, are you gearing more toward a muscle or an HIIT aspect? How is your water intake; are you doing at least…

That's what I use......I have one where I can go as much as 60g of protein with just 3 scoops. No sugar and low carb. It's 100 calories/scoop but it's worth it. Mine also has a thermogenic in there as well so I feel it when my temp goes up during the middle of the day. Plus I can taste some of the pepper they use for…

With my current exercise routine, I'm sticking with what I'm doing. I was just curious one day and read about it. I've decided to limit my carbs but I'm not going to go 20-40g/day......to me I would be left starving if I didn't have some carbs. I do limit myself on processed foods, breads, sweets (the cake/candy kind) and…

OK, #1 if you are serious about getting into shape and to get your mind and body into a healthier you, don't drink....pure and simple. If you are drinking (like you say you are), you need to get away from that stuff quickly before it becomes an issue; especially if you are going to college. If you do have an issue now,…

Just a suggestion, if you want to have a meal replacement but have the necessary vitamins and minerals, try GNC's Total Lean Burn drinks. They are low in calories (170 for 2 scoops), 30g protein, 1g sugar, 11g carbs; I'm not really big into fruit smoothies because I usually end up not feeling full and having a sugar crash…

Honestly, I think you're better off with a multi-vitamin than going with the It-Works greens. I've never had it but I've had friends who tried it and they felt nothing out of it. My mom did the distributor thing and she tried the wraps, didn't do anything for her.

If you are around your cycle, yes it could be water retention. If you are just 2# over yet you look thinner, you could be gaining muscle and your fat % may have gone down. Check your fat % with taping or with calipers. Just a thought.

Eh, it's late but I'll give it a shot. Currently weight 180 Goal 170 Age 29 I have a feeling I'll lose more than 10#. Watching bread and sugar amounts. Including strength training and cardio burn out. Caloric Deficit: no more than 500.

When I went to boot camp I was given an option for the HPV vaccine. I took it at the time. I honestly haven't had any after effects of having it. I've heard back and forth talks about the vaccine. I had a child in 2012 and currently on birth control (Mirena).

Girl, I feel you and so does everyone else on this board. If you don't feel comfortable going to the gym, then don't. Start working out from home. There are TONS of workout videos via YouTube that you can do at home, you can also get some help with proper nutrition and diets if need be. You can also contact nutritionist…

If you want to reduce you fat %, take up some HIIT. Don't hurt yourself if you are just starting out. If it's going too fast or you can't do a specific exercise, do something to fill that time (high knees, pushups, butt kicks, etc.) With the mixture of cardio, it will help you and tone up some muscle.

No....I only did one tea bag this week and it worked for me. I'm not abusing it. And yeah, if someone needs to use it for a week, they should see a doctor.

Nah, I didn't buy them for weight loss. I bought it when I have bouts of constipation; not only for me but for my husband as well.

Binge eating is the killer for anyone trying to work out. I know it's hard to curve it (I have bouts of it too). It's when you try to restrict too much and the sign of boredom or just your mind thinking it needs food is where you get in trouble. What I find that helps me is that if I were to eat protein and fiber-rich…
