100 before bed. Sounds good. But I was at 213 before lunch and found that I forgot my Humolog pen at,home. BY the time I got home I was at 302. This required 8 units. Definitely an off day for me.

So further good news, I just found out (because I couldn't remember) that in May my A1c was 9.4!!! Down to 6.8 in about 4 months!!!.

I just got a call from my Endo. My latest test results have my A1c down to 6.8. Progress! Also I just had one of my hyper-parathyroid glands removed (took out a 1/2 in. tumor)

Well, my lack of control during my vacation did not go unnoticed by my body. My numbers ranged from low hundreds in the am to the mid 200s by evening. I gained 4lbs on vacation but lost 8 and half inches doing an Ionetherme spa treatment. Back at it tomorrow....

Hmm. What were you expecting? Could be some travel stress also influencing your BG... [/quote] I didn't know what to expect. Probably more post surgical stress than travel...

Was 93 when I woke up but now, before I eat it's up to 132....

Thanks all. I am definitely sore and have neck pain. Hopefully that will pass. I am now able to get back on my meds, which is good because my pre dinner number is 343 (took 7 units) . Hoping by tomorrow i can get my numbers back down. I'll be posting thru this weekend.

Thanks Rhedd, no such orders. They had a sliding scale that started at 150 (mine from my endo starts at 121)
