Thanks all. Doing ok. Had last treatment of 3rd course today so yeah my night time number is 330, so I took 18 units of levemir. Next step is new CT Scan in Saturday to check on status.

Yesterday 101. Today 197. What a difference when you forget to take your levemir before bed.

Update: Why am I so hot. Not feeling right. Oh that’s right I had steroids and chemo today so my blood sugar is up to 340!!! Took meds and will drink lots of water and ride my bike in a while. Ugh! Last round of 3rd course next week then retake ct scan on the 22nd. I’ll keep ya’ll posted. Thanks.

153. Post chemo highs in effect

Back from vacation. Hair started falling out on day 2 of cruise. Still have it just getting very thin. Started course 2 of chemo today so I know my bs will be very high for the next few days. Woke up from nap and already at 280 at 6pm. I downed 2 glasses of water and did 10 min on bike and too 3 units of fast acting…

Back from vacation. Number was 117 this morning. Today was chemo day so the next couple days are going to shoot high.

My A1c went up a little from 6.5 to 6.9. My TSH is up to 5.86 and my BP has been in the rise. The dr increased my synthroid to 1.00, and upped my lisopril to 20. Complicating this is I just started chemo so my levels are all over and my bs is super wacky for a few days after so will adjust levemir and Humolog accordingly.…

Well here is one part of chemo I don’t like. My waking number is 254. Thought I took 15 units of levemir last night too. Took another 6 right now to hopefully get it down a bit. Oh and my BP has been on the rise. 152/74 yesterday at dr
