I am fine with the the portions too. Interesting you should suggest the pork tenderloin recipie... I have one in the freezer I have been trying to figure out what do to with it since I have never fixed one before.

I getcha... I never was great at cooking and working out nutrition, and now that I am married I find I am cooking more :)

Since part of my problem IS controlling portion size this is not an issue for me... and if I need more I just add veggies or salad.

Thanks, I will take a look...I am the only one in my family that needs to watch what they eat so I love that I can make this and they don't notice that it's healthier. I am fine with the portion control, as that is where I tend to have a problem.... like you, I just add veggies or a salad if I need more.

That said, I know it so easy to fall back on old habits, just like I know you will have the talk with yourself tonight and get yourself back on track tomorrow. Just remember that it is ok if you slide once in a while, it is that you get right back on it that matters....

I came upon this thread at just the right time. I nave been trying to figure out how to calculate calories burned doing various gym activies (30 min express workout, using the machines, etc.). I have a MIO heart rate monitor but the battery has died (and I forgot that it shows calories burned). I haven't looked into this…
