I like graham crackers with a little cream cheese and jam. I also bought some weight watchers dark chocolate raspberry ice cream bars that I've been enjoying.

Corn tortillas. They're really versatile and I almost always have them in the fridge.

I get hungry if I have just a smoothie so I like to keep my smoothies 200 calories or less. That way I can chew on something along with having the smoothie.

I buy it from the netrition website. I like the one with the chocolate added better than the plain.

I highly recommend the soup idea. I made my sister a big pot of vichyssoise soup when she had her wisdom teeth out. Really you could blend up just about any soup to make it easy to eat. Somehow the thought of living on things like oatmeal, yogurt and pudding make me crave savory foods. Plus it's cold where I am and I keep…

I really think that you would be happy with either one. I have a Vtamix, but thought about buying a Blendtec. The reviews and warranties for both are great, but the Blendtec would have fit on the counter. In the end I just got a better deal on the Vitamix.

black pepper, Sriracha sauce, horseradish, cumin, salsa, curry powder, cilantro, vinegars and scallions. I also love the Del Monte diced tomatoes with zesty jalapeno-it makes a great base for soup or I use it where I would have used salsa.

I like most anything except flan, fudge, frosting (that is not cream cheese frosting) and ranch dressing from a bottle. I also dislike fruit flavored candies including starbursts, skittles, etc. and anything banana flavored if it's not a real banana.

I like to mix tuna or diced chicken with cottage cheese, green onions, celery and curry powder and use it for a sandwich or top a salad. I also like to melt cottage cheese in the microwave with refried beans and salsa and use as a dip. Or I top it with green onions, chopped tomato and diced cucumbers with a little black…

I did it! I walked on the treadmill and elliptical (is this walking?) for a total of 149 minutes. Thanks for the challenge. Why? I ended up changing my schedule around b/c I couldn't exercise my normal schedule. That's a big change for me b/c in the past it would usually mean I'd just skip exercise and instead, I still did…

And if you want to put your tuna back in occasionally, try buying one without added salt. I know Trader Joe's carries it and probably Whole Foods.

I buy it on the netrition website. I like it better as a dip (for apple slices or other fruit, celery) than on a sandwich. On a sandwich I prefer natural pb. I also prefer the chocolate pb2 over the regular. I have never put in smoothies since I'm already happy with the flavor and nutrition profile of my smoothies.

You could also check them out from your local library and see what you enjoy.

Most definitely yes. I had irregular periods for a while. Then, I had a point in time about 20 years ago when my period wouldn't stop. I went on birth control and that regulated it. After, my period progressively became heavier and heavier. That, plus I had tons of polyps, warranted an ablation a few years ago. I was…

Yes! But luckily I rarely crave them when I don't see them. It's seeing them that makes me want chocolate, ice cream or potato chips. There aren't a lot of other foods in my crave list.

I love cookbooks, but find that everyone has different favorites. Some people want pictures, nutritional information , family friendly recipes, vegan, etc. I would highly recommend cruising your library's cookbook shelves or the cookbook section of your local bookstore. I like Mark Bittman's "How to Cook Everything". You…

You could make ratatouille. Here's a link to a recipe: http://www.food.com/recipe/ratatouille-crock-pot-58047

I always keep greek yogurt in the fridge at work. It fills me up and is quick to eat. I also always have a serving of almonds or pistachios in my lunch bag. Other than that, I usually have leftovers.

Here is a favorite salad of mine made out of brown rice and apples. I've gotten several people "addicted" to it. I usually skip the chicken and add a can of black beans and add more veggies. http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Brown-Rice-Salad-with-Grilled-Chicken. I am also addicted to Wasa Crisp 'n Light Crackers. I like…

Keeping up with exercise. I've gained most of my weight right after I stopped a regular exercise routine. My eating has always been much less of a problem.

I was normal weight until adulthood. By the time I was 23-24, I was 170 pounds. I gradually continued to put on pounds until now (46) I topped out at nearly 280 pounds. The last 25 pounds came in the last year and a half.

I'm in with this goal.

To supplement the previous suggestions, I include things like Wasa Crackers (especially crisp 'n light) or the triscuit thins. You can top them with anything from cheese to veggies to smoked salmon. I also like snapea crisps (unlike potato chips, I can stop at one serving). If you have a microwave, you can pop corn in a…

Or you could make a single serving dessert by spreading a thin layer of cream cheese along with your favorite jelly/jam onto a graham cracker. It tastes like cheesecake to me.

Hi, my name is Carol Lynne (CL). I am 46 years old and live by myself (ie. I can blame my habits on no one but myself). I live in western MA and weigh 272 pounds. My goal is to lose about a 120 pounds. I have always cooked for myself (rather than eating out) so eating healthy food is not a problem for me-just eating too…

The eatingwell website has meal plans for various calorie levels. You might want to check it out for ideas. http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes_menus/menus_meal_plans You can also go online and just search for 1200 calorie meal plans to find one that works for you.

Like bc123, I really like tortillas (well, mostly corn tortillas). You can layer them with refried beans, corn, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, salsa, etc or make fish/shredded cabbage/salsa tacos, make a potato and egg taco or roll them into enchiladas. Eggs are inexpensive-you can scramble them, poach them, hard boil them or…

This is one of my favorite salads: http://dinnerwithjulie.com/2010/03/29/curried-quinoa-salad-mango/ I leave the spinach out and put it under the salad on the plate or bowl instead.

I am also always looking for more ways to add veggies to breakfast. I like to make corn tortilla tacos for breakfast with refried beans or sweet potato (or both), shredded cabbage, and salsa. I also eat leftovers-I've never understood why we eat different food for breakfast than for other meals. You can also make quiches…
