If you have comcast cable, they have a free section on the 'On Demand' section (channel 1). Go to Sports and Fitness, Exercise, and then there are a lot of exercises and dance choices. Even some 10 minute ones. They change all the time so you don't get bored. Your paying for it...might as well try it. Good Luck.

Hi there. T1 here also.....195 is a bit high, so I don't think it is the DM. I like the b/p and anemia suggestions. Also, can you be just plain tired? Or possibly stressed more than normal? Also....are your drinking enough water? All things to consider.

I use and love the Medtronic Minimed.

I have heard those issues on the Omni pumps. I have the minimed (medtronic) pump and I got to say.....I am not attached to it....it is attached to me and that is the attitude I take with it....but to each his own.

I love my pump greatly. Thank you for the understanding. Good luck to him and you.

I am also T1 diabetic. Have been for 25 years. I am on the pump and when I start to feel like I am going low, I am able to stop the pump from dosing me until I can eat something. That has helped me tremendously. But...I still get low now and then. You are soooooooo right. Diabetes sucks mud. It always has and always…

My trainer told me that if I got shin splints to sit down and draw the entire alphabet with each foot in the air (draw with your foot). Good luck.

Reduce your sodium intake and increase the amount of water you drink (I know that sounds backwards, but trust me). Once you flush out the sodium in your system, you will lose the water weight and drinking all the water will get rid of the sodium and keep your system 'clean'. Hope that is simple enough.....

I truly wished I knew. Every year I say I will lose the weight, but by the 2nd or 3rd, I stopped. For some reason this year I kept going. I have always been over weight, so I wish I knew. I know I am motivated because I am still doing the two things I hate....cooking and working out. I am losing and losing slow, but still…

I know that I am probably in the minority here, but I recently tried hummus (roasted garlic flavor) and did not care for it. What am I missing about the whole hummus thing?

Count me in. I tried it a couple of times, but I am having trouble running. (my old philosophy was why run unless someone is chasing you....LOL). Since I have trouble running, I will bike it and increase my speed when he says 'Run'. Maybe I will be able to start running after the first go through of the C25K. Count me in.…
