Good Morning! I hope you all had a great week. Thanks @k80flec we miss *SO* much with our other grandchildren being on the other side of the country and in elementary school now, it is fantastic to have one in the same town. Even if it is just until our youngest gets finished with his education (he starts on his junior…

We babysat the 2 month old grandson while mom & dad moved house. He did not want to be put down *at all*. Needless to say, I didn't get much moving done beyond small battles with the laundry monster and spider horde (I didn't win), but I feel like I've a good start to the month. June 1-4, 4.3 miles, all walking.

Please sign me up for another 50 miles. It will be interesting to see if I'm busier or slower. We have the grandsons (7 & 5-1/2) from June 17 thru July 5. I will be one tired Nana that is for sure. Good thing I'm on vacation that time. Edited to remove ticker that isn't working.

I did it! May 1-3, 50.12 Miles

Thank you to the Admins for running the group. Almost there but I need at least three miles today and two tomorrow. I might try to hop on the exercise bike to get the last 5 in. ;) May 1-28, 45.78 Miles out of 50.

April 1-14, 25.15 Miles I'm half way. Meeting my brother and sister in Jefferson to hit the casino with the spousal units to see the show. There is even a tentative plan for kayaking Saturday if the weather holds. I hope you all have a great week.

I hope everyone had a great week. It is totally bananas how we went from snow, cold temps, and freezing rain early in the week to 87° in parts of the Midwest this weekend. May 1-7, Walking = 13.8 Miles. While I didn't get many steps in this weekend, I did get a lot accomplished. I thinned through my dresser and closet.…

We might go, my family and I have never gone and I think it would be fun. We live up near Spencer so hit that every year. For the CCF, we aim for the pork/beef producers and get whatever grilled option they have. We do hit the Tom Thumb donuts because once a year is a treat.

Thank you Dave & Janet for running the challenge again. Good Luck Everyone! I would like to be marked down for another 50 miles.

I have three days to get in 10 miles but I have faith in myself, tomorrow is a shopping day in the metropolis of Sioux Falls, followed by music and dancing. Good luck everyone!

April 1-16, 23.1 miles, all walking. Sadly I lost my FitBit on Friday at the check in desk for my 8:00 dr appointment, spent until 1:30 walking the campus from one clinician to the next (it was a horribly loong morning). We had a quick lunch, then shopped Costco. I finally realized it was missing when I went to take a…

HA! Talk about scatterbrained. That moment when you realize you haven't posted mileage at all this month. Then that although you've been keeping track you realize that you forgot to sign up for the challenge!! Happy February Everyone!

^ this I can't tell you how many times I've argued with my boys on this. A pound is a pound is a pound, it's all the same unless we're talking British currency. Muscle is denser than fat, obviously, and that is why your clothes fit better and you look leaner.
