Agree 100% - planning ahead and knowing what you are getting in to is the best thing you can do. ...and makign your choices ahead of time so the smell or appearance of something doesn't encourage you to make a snap decision you'll regret later. I also 2nd, or 3rd the Chipotle suggestion - they use good quality meats and…

Oh, and several years ago I was full on addicted to Diet coke. I gave that up probably 4-5 years ago and when I hear a can crack open I sometimes still salivate.

I'm definitely addicted to sugar. I gave it (any form of refined sugar) up 10 days ago and I wasn't thinking that craving it or really missing anything, but I just realized that I've been eating like 3-4 servings of fruit a day. I'm not planning to give up my fruit anytime soon as it is keeping on my (self created) plan,…

Thank you all. Also, I copied this from an old WW recipe... I would definitely NOT use egg beaters, I just forgot to change that.

So, I haven't done the whole30 - I am just leaning in to Paleo now and have eliminated wheat and sugar for this month... but I know what you mean about your mind playing games with you! Just yeaterday I made a comment about how giving up wheat and sugar was a lot easier than I thought it would be and I am now having any…

Feel free to add me. I am new to Primal/Paleo. I am easing in my giving up sugar & wheat this month. SO far so good.

Is this true for all states? I didn't know that GMOs were labeled yet?

My daughter (15 months) loves salmon. I'll cook it and then give her bits and throw a serving on a bed of spinach for myself. I make a lemon Dijon vinaigrette to put over it so I don't contend with preservatives in store bought dressings. I'm interested in what others do too

Ahh - I didn't realize that the OP was a year ago ... that makes more sense

I am a working mom too (to an awesome 15 month old) and I could use tips from other moms who succeed at finding time to work out while being with their LOs. I've been logging cals on MFP for a week now and so far it seems easy and I am already seeing results so I've motivated to keep it going! For the first time in a long…

Hi There, I am the Mama to a 15 month old girl and I work full time. I am just finishing my first week with MFP and seeing results already. I am counting calories and have eliminated wheat and sugar to try to curb my sugar addiction! So far so good with eating, although I am having trouble figuring out when/where/how to…

Good question. I am breastfeeding too. I have so much weight to loose I am not worrying about the extra calories needed... also my baby is over a year so less worried about the amount of milk now since she is eating food.

sorry that previous post was regarding the 5' should be 100lbs and +5lbs for every inch... it didn't copy the text for some reason. the biggest take away I am getting from this thread is that everyone is different and it really depends on your body type.

I completely agree! This is a bit antiquated. I'm 5'6" and my lowest adult weight was 148 and I was a size 6 and my hip bones stick out.

I am just getting started too. I do a big omelette and then divide it up. I usually start with a big bunch of swiss chard and onion and saute until the greens are wilted, then add eggs and a bit of cheese on top. I'm not full paleo, for now I am just eliminating all wheat and sugar. I still eat dairy and other whole grains…

@ Anne - thank you for the recipe. Did you happen to calculate the caloric info? @ gddrdld - thank you for the explanation. I am sure Stevia is fine. I am just a bit over cautious as I am nursing and making intake decisions for two. @ Jenna, thank you for the google suggestion! I got tons of hits... why I didn't think of…

Thank you DocMarr!

thank you, I choose not to use Stevia either. I know is it said to be ok now, but they thought saccharine was fine too at first... I'd rather not take my chances and just avoid it all together.

thank you

For breasts people usually can't get enough of .... soak in very salty water for 15-30 minutes pat dry dip in beaten egg then seasoned bread crumbs bake on a cookie sheet for 20- 30 minutes at 350F (I always cut in to the thickest part to make sure it is cooked all the way) this in my mother's recipe that always yields…

these are good suggestions... I am new to MFP ... I have one question. Why do people write "bump"?

Hi, I'm interested in the challenge.
